Listen to His voice James 1 verse 21 So get rid of all the filth and evil in your lives, and humbly accept the message God has planted in your hearts, for it is strong enough to save your souls. And remember it is a message to obey, not just to listen to. If you don't obey, you are only fooling yourself. Everyday God speaks to us and we can either hear His voice or we can allow all the filth in our lives to interrupt Him and so not hearing His voice. His message when He talks to us is not just to hear, but we must act on it. Without your knowing, your words can change someone's life or God's voice can change your life. James 1 verse 26 If you claim to be religious but don't control your tongue, you are just fooling yourself, and your religion is worthless. Pure and lasting religion in the sight of God our Father means that we must care for orphans and widows in their troubles, and refuse to let the world corrupt us. How can you hear God's voice and not c...

You are a choice possession James 1 (Verse 17-18) Whatever is good and perfect comes to us from God above, who created all heavens lights. Unlike them, He never changes or cast shifting shadows. In His goodness He chose to make us His own children by giving us His true word. And we out of all creation, became His choice possession. God never changes, He is always the same. He has no favorites and loves each one of us equally. God made you His own children and out of all creation we became His choice possession. What an awesome confirmation of His love for you. You are important to Him, and even more He wants you to be happy, to laugh and be joyful. He wants to be the center of your life. Let God be first in everything you do today. Let's give Him glory in every task that lies ahead of us. (Verse 1-4) Dear brothers and sisters, whenever trouble comes your way, let it be an opportunity for joy. For when your faith is tested, your endurance has a chance to grow. So l...

There is only one constant in this world - God Hebrews 12 verse 1 and 2 Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a huge crowd of witnesses to the life of faith, let us strip off every weight that slows us down, especially the sin that so easily hinders our progress. And let us run with endurance the race that God has set before us. We do this by keeping our eyes on Jesus, on whom our faith depends from start to finish.  He was willing to die a shameful death on the cross because of the joy He knew would be His afterward. Now He is seated in the place of highest honor beside God's throne in heaven. In our daily life's we are constantly running a race. We are always in competition with this world and with our Christian life. To top it of, this world is always changing and the enemy is always on the hunt with a variety of ways to make us stumble in our path towards God's kingdom. And on our route we are hindered  with the ever increasing burden of sin that sl...

You were not made to hide, you were made to shine Hebrews 1 verse 3 The son reflects God's own glory, and everything about Him represents God exactly. He sustains the universe by the mighty power of His command. After He died to cleanse us from the stain of sin, He sat down in the place of honor at the right hand of the majestic God of heaven. There are three things I wish to leave with you for this week: 1. He sustains the universe by the mighty power of His command - You are worshiping an amazing God. The whole universe is sustained by His command. Think of what He can do in your life. With Him there are no limitations, there are no boundaries. Let Him be your guide, let the creator of heaven and earth be the solver of all your problems. 2. He died to cleanse us from the stain of sin - He has set you free from the chains of sin. His death conquered over death itself. He destroyed the grip of evil. Let Him cleanse you. Let Him clear away everything that stands between...

When it rains 1 Timothy 6 verse 11 - 16 But you, Timothy, belong to God; so run from all these evil things and follow what is right and good. Pursue a godly life, along with faith, love, perserverance and gentleness. Fight the good fight for what we believe. Hold tightly to the eternal life that God has given you, which you have confessed so well before many witnesses. And I command you before God, who gives life to all, and before Christ Jesus, who gave a good testimony before Pontius Pilate, that you obey His commands with all purity. Then no one can find fault with you from now until our Lord Jesus Christ returns. For at the right time Christ will be revealed from heaven by the blessed and only almighty God, the King of kings and the Lord of lords. He alone can never die, and he lives in light so brilliant that no human can approach Him. No one has ever seen Him, nor ever will. To Him be honor and power forever. Amen. How many times have you walked on water? How many times was...
He saved each one of us 1 Timothy 1 verse 15 - 17 This is a true saying, and everyone should believe it: Christ Jesus came into this world to save sinners - and I was the worst of them all. But that is why God had mercy on me, so that Christ Jesus can use me as a prime example of His great patience with even the worst sinners. Then others will realize that they, too, can believe in Him and receive eternal life. Glory and honor to God forever and ever. He is the eternal King, the unseen one who never dies; He alone is God. Amen. It is one of the enemies greatest attacks to make you think that you are not worthy. That you do not deserve God's forgiveness, when in fact He died for each one if us. I am definitely a prime example of His patience. If He can forgive me, and patiently waited for me to get in line with His will, then He will do the same for you. God has no favourites. He loves you and me equally. 1 Timothy 2 verse 5 and 6 For there is only one God and one Mediator...

You are saved 1 Thessalonians 5 verse 9 - 11: For God decided to save us through our Lord Jesus Christ, not to pour out His anger on us. He died for us so that we can live with Him forever , whether we are dead or alive at the time of His return. So encourage each other and build each other up, just as you are already doing. This awesome God gave His son to save you. What more do you need? He died so that we can live forever. Let us take this amazing gift and stand together, let us build each other up and lift each other up. Let us fight this battle together, let us not stand alone but unite. Let us live out the promise and shine His glory out to the world. 1 Thessalonians 5 verse 14 - 17: Brothers and sisters, we urge you to warn those who are lazy. Encourage those who are timid. Take tender care of those who are weak. Be patient with everyone. See that no one pays back evil for evil, but always try to do good to each other and to everyone else. Always be joyful. Keep o...
