Listen to His voice
James 1 verse 21
So get rid of all the filth and evil in your lives, and humbly accept the message God has planted in your hearts, for it is strong enough to save your souls.
And remember it is a message to obey, not just to listen to. If you don't obey, you are only fooling yourself.
Everyday God speaks to us and we can either hear His voice or we can allow all the filth in our lives to interrupt Him and so not hearing His voice.
His message when He talks to us is not just to hear, but we must act on it. Without your knowing, your words can change someone's life or God's voice can change your life.
James 1 verse 26
If you claim to be religious but don't control your tongue, you are just fooling yourself, and your religion is worthless. Pure and lasting religion in the sight of God our Father means that we must care for orphans and widows in their troubles, and refuse to let the world corrupt us.
How can you hear God's voice and not control your tongue. It is so important that we control what comes out of our mouths. Your words should encourage and not break down. It is most important that we do not allow the world to corrupt us, because this will influence your tongue. Let God be your focus point, and let Him help you to overcome this world.
To God be the honor and the glory, forever and ever.

You are a choice possession
James 1
(Verse 17-18)
Whatever is good and perfect comes to us from God above, who created all heavens lights. Unlike them, He never changes or cast shifting shadows. In His goodness He chose to make us His own children by giving us His true word. And we out of all creation, became His choice possession.
God never changes, He is always the same. He has no favorites and loves each one of us equally. God made you His own children and out of all creation we became His choice possession. What an awesome confirmation of His love for you. You are important to Him, and even more He wants you to be happy, to laugh and be joyful. He wants to be the center of your life. Let God be first in everything you do today. Let's give Him glory in every task that lies ahead of us.
(Verse 1-4)
Dear brothers and sisters, whenever trouble comes your way, let it be an opportunity for joy. For when your faith is tested, your endurance has a chance to grow. So let it grow, for when your endurance is fully developed, you will be strong in character and ready for anything.
In your daily challenges you should not see them as problems, but instead you should look at them as opportunities. When you overcome these challenges you will grow stronger, and new challenges will become smaller. Let us become fit for God and outrun the devil in every race. Let todays challenges become tomorrow's victory.
(Verse 5-6)
If you need wisdom-if you want to know what God wants you to do-ask Him, and He will gladly tell you. He will not resent your asking. But when you ask Him, be sure that you really expect Him to answer, for a doubtful mind is as unsettled as a wave of the sea that is driven and tossed by the wind.
When faced with your challenges, clear your head and ask God to tell what He wants you to do. Let Him guide and direct you, then the mountain will become a downhill path.
Open up and let God talk to you today, expect to hear His voice. See the path and follow His way.
You are His prize possession, He wants you to succeed against all odds. But more so, He wants to help you reach your goal and glorify His name. He wants all of us to be with Him.
Don't loose your focus.
To God be the glory and the power, forever and ever.

There is only one constant in this world - God
Hebrews 12 verse 1 and 2
Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a huge crowd of witnesses to the life of faith, let us strip off every weight that slows us down, especially the sin that so easily hinders our progress. And let us run with endurance the race that God has set before us. We do this by keeping our eyes on Jesus, on whom our faith depends from start to finish.
He was willing to die a shameful death on the cross because of the joy He knew would be His afterward. Now He is seated in the place of highest honor beside God's throne in heaven.
In our daily life's we are constantly running a race. We are always in competition with this world and with our Christian life. To top it of, this world is always changing and the enemy is always on the hunt with a variety of ways to make us stumble in our path towards God's kingdom.
And on our route we are hindered with the ever increasing burden of sin that slows us down.
Do not let this make you stumble, in this changing world there is one constant that never changes and that is God. We can run this race with endurance if our eyes are set on Jesus. He has already won, and His victory is our victory. It is not a victory that we must still compete for, it is a victory that we share with Him. With your eyes set on Jesus, knowing that the burden of sin is already gone, you can run from start to finish.
To God be all the glory and the power, forever and ever.
Revealing the plan:
In our race towards the finish line we are able to see God change the world. It is our purpose to be changers in our daily surroundings. In our part to be city changers it is my plan to change our company from within. Therefore it will be priority in my life to show God to everyone in our company for His glory.

You were not made to hide, you were made to shine
Hebrews 1 verse 3
The son reflects God's own glory, and everything about Him represents God exactly. He sustains the universe by the mighty power of His command. After He died to cleanse us from the stain of sin, He sat down in the place of honor at the right hand of the majestic God of heaven.
There are three things I wish to leave with you for this week:
1. He sustains the universe by the mighty power of His command - You are worshiping an amazing God. The whole universe is sustained by His command. Think of what He can do in your life. With Him there are no limitations, there are no boundaries. Let Him be your guide, let the creator of heaven and earth be the solver of all your problems.
2. He died to cleanse us from the stain of sin - He has set you free from the chains of sin. His death conquered over death itself. He destroyed the grip of evil. Let Him cleanse you. Let Him clear away everything that stands between you and Him. Let the King of glory lift you up and make you shine for His great glory. Let all your praise be unto Him.
3. He sat down in the place of honor at the right hand of the majestic God of heaven - He is the one pleading for you, He is the one that will never give up on you, He is the one that loves you unconditionally, He is the one that will always stand by you and He is the one that prepared the way. Set your eyes on Him and let Him be the focus of your week.
Let me end with this:
You are made in His image
You are made to live
You are made to glorify Him
You are made to be free
You are made to worship
You are made to sing
You are made to dance
You are made to laugh
You are made to be happy
You are made to be strong
You are made to shine...

When it rains
1 Timothy 6 verse 11 - 16
But you, Timothy, belong to God; so run from all these evil things and follow what is right and good. Pursue a godly life, along with faith, love, perserverance and gentleness. Fight the good fight for what we believe. Hold tightly to the eternal life that God has given you, which you have confessed so well before many witnesses. And I command you before God, who gives life to all, and before Christ Jesus, who gave a good testimony before Pontius Pilate, that you obey His commands with all purity. Then no one can find fault with you from now until our Lord Jesus Christ returns. For at the right time Christ will be revealed from heaven by the blessed and only almighty God, the King of kings and the Lord of lords. He alone can never die, and he lives in light so brilliant that no human can approach Him. No one has ever seen Him, nor ever will. To Him be honor and power forever. Amen.
How many times have you walked on water? How many times was the waves to high and the winds to strong? How many times did you feel like you are sinking and there is no way out? How many times did God provide a way out, a solution?
Matthew 14 verse 31
Instantly Jesus reached out His hand and grabbed him. "You don't have much faith," Jesus said. "Why did you doubt me?"
It is in hard times when we feel that we need God more, and sometimes it feels that He is not there. It is when the winds are to loud that we don't hear His voice anymore but only see the bad things. Jesus says "Why do you doubt me?". He is with you in every situation, in every problem and in every difficulty. In the good and the bad. What we must remember is to call out His name. He will react, He will be glorified in your problems.
Don't doubt Him, but trust in Him. He has already planned the steps that you are yet to take.
Let Him be your guide, let Him be the rock that you stand on. And while the winds rush by you will feel no more fear.
"Father, let your will be done"

He saved each one of us
1 Timothy 1 verse 15 - 17
This is a true saying, and everyone should believe it: Christ Jesus came into this world to save sinners - and I was the worst of them all. But that is why God had mercy on me, so that Christ Jesus can use me as a prime example of His great patience with even the worst sinners. Then others will realize that they, too, can believe in Him and receive eternal life. Glory and honor to God forever and ever. He is the eternal King, the unseen one who never dies; He alone is God. Amen.
It is one of the enemies greatest attacks to make you think that you are not worthy. That you do not deserve God's forgiveness, when in fact He died for each one if us. I am definitely a prime example of His patience. If He can forgive me, and patiently waited for me to get in line with His will, then He will do the same for you. God has no favourites. He loves you and me equally.
1 Timothy 2 verse 5 and 6
For there is only one God and one Mediator who can reconcile God and people. He is the man Christ Jesus. He gave His life to purchase freedom for everyone. This is the message that God gave the world at the proper time.
He gave His life for you, so that you can be free. Let God help you to strip away all those bad things that is keeping you from Him. Let Him come into your life and break the chains of sin and set you free.
He loves you unconditionally and wants you to bring glory to His name.
My challenge to you:
In this week, let Him wash away you past, clear your conscience and let you dance. Try and change one thing in your daily life to bring glory to God, so that the world can see His light in you.

You are saved
1 Thessalonians 5 verse 9 - 11:
For God decided to save us through our Lord Jesus Christ, not to pour out His anger on us. He died for us so that we can live with Him forever, whether we are dead or alive at the time of His return. So encourage each other and build each other up, just as you are already doing.
This awesome God gave His son to save you. What more do you need? He died so that we can live forever. Let us take this amazing gift and stand together, let us build each other up and lift each other up. Let us fight this battle together, let us not stand alone but unite. Let us live out the promise and shine His glory out to the world.
1 Thessalonians 5 verse 14 - 17:
Brothers and sisters, we urge you to warn those who are lazy. Encourage those who are timid. Take tender care of those who are weak. Be patient with everyone.
See that no one pays back evil for evil, but always try to do good to each other and to everyone else.
Always be joyful. Keep on praying. No matter what happens, always be thankful, for this is God's will for you who belong to Christ Jesus.
Always be joyful. We have so much to be greatful for, we have received so many blessings out of love. Knowing that the result of your life on earth is to be able to spend eternity with the creator of all creation, the maker of heaven and earth. The Lord our God, should overwhelm you with joy.
So smile, because you are saved. You are His creation, you are made in His image. He is bigger than we can ever imagine.
Keep this in mind:
Colossians 1 verse 17:
He existed before everything else began, and He holds all creation together.
On that cross:
The Star breather became the sin bearer
The Universe maker became man kind's saviour
