Today Reminder (What if) – 31 May 2018

A reminder for today

For by him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by him, and for him: And he is before all things, and by him all things consist. (1 Corinthians 1:16-17)

I love these verses. They are also one of my favourites among the rest of the Bible. In fact, I love the whole Bible and as you know the King James specifically for various reasons. Today I am going to play with your mind a little. So, keep an open mind, but think about it.

What if? Now I say what if, but I also believe that my what if is not so farfetched. So, bear with me. What if there is a secret organization of very wealthy people that is ruling the world. What if they know that to control the world they need to control the food? What if they want to reduce the population of the world and the only they know is by war fuelled by racism? What if they know that if there is no more land owned by people and the food production stops there will be chaos?

What if this organization is steering us towards tribulation? We know there is something going on and we can see that things are not right. We see nature doing all kinds of weird things. We see the signs form Revelation as they become a reality. We see prices going up and up and food getting more and more expensive. Fuel prices are rising, and our country wants to take the land and own it so that we must rent it from them. We are a communist government slowly changing our country into a communist regime. The people behind this knows that the land issue is going to result in war and is that not what they want. 

The reality is that this is happening all over the world. Look at Europe and how an activist against muslims was arrested in Britain for merely speaking out. Look at the violence and rapes in Europe. Look at the violence and shootings in the US. In China Christians are persecuted and in the arab states Christians are killed. 

The world is in turmoil and satan is having a huge ball. Is it not what the Bible teaches us. What if that organization exists so that the coming of the anti-christ can happen? What if we are all part of satan’s plan to destroy all Christians? What if?

Take a moment and think about this but remember that all things were created by God and for God. He is before all things and by Him all things exist. He is our king and our Lord, and He is our creator and Father. He said that He will return, but He also said that we will go through tribulation. The end is near, so make sure you are ready for what is about to happen.

Today Reminder (Diversity) – 30 May 2018

A reminder for today

Neither pray I for these alone, but for them also which shall believe on me through their word; That they all may be one; as thou, Father, art in me, and I in thee, that they also may be one in us: that the world may believe that thou hast sent me. And the glory which thou gavest me I have given them; that they may be one, even as we are one. (John 17:20-22)

It rained yesterday and today the temperatures dropped and they will drop a little more in the days to come. I am not a huge fan of “cold” so I look like an Eskimo early in the morning when I am on my way to the gym. Layers, I tell you layers. I have layers – hahaha.

Jesus prayed just before He was arrested. In this prayer He said a few things that brought me back to my chat with a fellow South African on twitter yesterday. It was quickly clear in our conversation that people make up their own preconceptions of other. Now one of our biggest struggles seems to be race and cultural differences, but in mere moments we seemed to have found a common ground. 

Once the presumptions were out of the way and we could talk on a clear platform we seemed to have the same type of issues. Now South Africa is a country build on many rights and many wrongs and in both all of us played a role. But that is in the past. If we cannot learn from our past and move forward, we will never be able to rebuild this amazing country.

It is man’s self that is the biggest stumble block. We struggle because both sides are to hard headed to stand together and the first thing that happens is that blame goes to the mistakes made in past. Yes, there were mistakes, but there was also good. It is typical of worldly orientated people to look at mistakes and mis the good. We all do it from time to time, but when we are renewed by Jesus we should not seek to see the bad what strive to see the good in all.

The weirdest part is that many of these people are supposed to be Christians. So, why can’t we work together. It is simply the worldly aspect that over shadows God in our lives. I have made it a point in my life to seek and to see the good in people. I look past your race, gender, culture or beliefs and I look to see the good in you. Then I start to look at the rest. Yes, I believe we can solve all this on a common ground that we can all agree on. But this will mean that all parties will have to give and allow and submit a little. Will that ever happen, I believe it can, but it will mean that people will have to set aside their self and listen and return to God. 

Jesus prayed here for the people that will become believers by the work the disciples will do. Jesus said that they may be one as He is one with the Father and the Father with Him. Jesus said it and He prayed for it. Why are we Christians divided, because our hearts are in the wrong place. We worship the wrong god. It is about us and not God. For as long as the so-called Christians will continue in their wrong ways, this world will not change. It starts with you and me. If we change and we can touch a heart around us and change them, we can change all. This fight is on your knees. Pray for all of us as I am praying for you.

Today Reminder (Tremble) – 29 May 2018

A reminder for today

Thou believest that there is one God; thou doest well: the devils also believe, and tremble. (James 2:19)

How are you, my friend? It is crisp and chilly Tuesday morning here in our country. I am not sure what the weather is like in your country, but what I do know is that Jesus can change any weather conditions. If it is winter in your life, God can change that and bring a new season into your life. The thing is, and I have said it before, we do not right size God. This verse is so powerful, just listen to what James says. He says that the devils believe, and they tremble. 

Now, I think we should say that again. The devils believe, and they tremble before God. Do we tremble? If you think about your day. Would you think that during today you will display a life that trembles before God and shares His love?

Do you sin or did you sin? Have you lied? Have you hated? Have you used the Lord’s name in vain? Have you murdered (Remember abortion is murder)? Have you desired? In God’s court breaking one sin is like breaking them all. What do we do? 

The best thing is that we do not have to do anything. Jesus came and did it for us. He gave His life out of love for us all. He changed our destiny. When you accepted Him as your saviour, all your sins are forgiven. All your mistakes are no more, and all your burdens is lifted. You are a new person with a new life. God gives you a new heart and new spirit. You need to make sure that you repented and repented with a true heart. God looks at your heart and He sees how you truly feel. 

This new birth in Jesus changes your direction, your path and your destiny. Now, when you know that Jesus came not to condemn but to save you also know that you are free. When you have done this and turned away from your old life and accepted this new life, you are now a new person. Your way of life changes and if you have truly given up your old lway of life, everyone will see that in you and how you live. 

Now, we believe, but we do not need to tremble, because our sins are forgiven, and we are children of God. We do not need to tremble like the devils, we must shine so that we can tell other about Jesus and how He changed our lives. Take a stand for Jesus and shine.
