"It is the world that is being pulled over your eyes Neo". - Morpheus
Lets start at the beginning:
(Exo 20:11) In six days I, the LORD, made the earth, the sky, the seas, and everything in them, but on the seventh day I rested. That is why I, the LORD, blessed the Sabbath and made it holy.
(Gen 1:1) In the beginning, when God created the universe,
(Psalm 33:6-7) The Lord merely spoke, and the heavens were created. He breathed the word and all the stars were born. He assigned the sea its boundaries and locked the oceans in vast reservoirs.
God created the heavens and the earth. He created a perfect world, but Satan came and created a matrix for you in this world. The matrix is the material world that Satan pulls over the eyes of the world. He has not only one way but many that lets us slip from our path:
(Gal 5:19) What human nature does is quite plain. It shows itself in immoral, filthy, and indecent actions;
(Gal 5:20) in worship of idols and witchcraft. People become enemies and they fight; they become jealous, angry, and ambitious. They separate into parties and groups;
(Gal 5:21) they are envious, get drunk, have orgies, and do other things like these. I warn you now as I have before: those who do these things will not possess the Kingdom of God.
God gave the commandments to help people to see the matrix, but is was clear that it is impossible for humans to live by the law. To be perfect...
(Joh 3:16) For God loved the world so much that he gave his only Son, so that everyone who believes in him may not die but have eternal life.
God send Jesus to save us, to free us from this burden.(Joh 3:16) For God loved the world so much that he gave his only Son, so that everyone who believes in him may not die but have eternal life.
(Rom 6:8) Since we have died with Christ, we believe that we will also live with him.
(Gal 5:24) And those who belong to Christ Jesus have put to death their human nature with all its passions and desires.
Now, it is your choice how you live your life. And yes all choices have rewards. In the movie "The Matrix" Neo is pulled out of the matrix to the real world. He had two choices, take red or the blue pill. One would keep him in his current state living in the matrix, the other would wake him in the real world.
Like him you are constantly faced with two choices, the one will let you be part of this world and the other is to follow what the Holy Spirit says.
Just like Neo, your real world will be one of conflict and war. You see, Satan does not want you to wake up, he likes it when you are stuck in the matrix. He then controls you and sets your path.
When you are woken from this unreal world, he will try everything in his power to bring you down.
(Eph 6:12) For we are not fighting against human beings but against the wicked spiritual forces in the heavenly world, the rulers, authorities, and cosmic powers of this dark age.
Luckily:
(2Co 12:10) I am content with weaknesses, insults, hardships, persecutions, and difficulties for Christ's sake. For when I am weak, then I am strong.
(Eph 6:13) So put on God's armor now! Then when the evil day comes, you will be able to resist the enemy's attacks; and after fighting to the end, you will still hold your ground.
So to conclude, we live by faith and not by sight. Trust God to guide you in your journey on this planet. This is only a temporary dwelling, for only a short time we will suffer so that we can have an eternity with God.
(Rev 21:1) Then I saw a new heaven and a new earth. The first heaven and the first earth disappeared, and the sea vanished.
(Rev 21:2) And I saw the Holy City, the new Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God, prepared and ready, like a bride dressed to meet her husband.
(Rev 21:5) Then the one who sits on the throne said, "And now I make all things new!" He also said to me, "Write this, because these words are true and can be trusted."
(Rev 21:3) I heard a loud voice speaking from the throne: "Now God's home is with people! He will live with them, and they shall be his people. God himself will be with them, and he will be their God.
(Rev 21:6) And he said, "It is done! I am the first and the last, the beginning and the end. To anyone who is thirsty I will give the right to drink from the spring of the water of life without paying for it.
(Rev 21:7) Those who win the victory will receive this from me: I will be their God, and they will be my children.
To God be all the glory.
