Mark 10

14 When Jesus saw what was happening, he was angry with his disciples. He said to them, "Let the children come to me. Don't stop them! For the Kingdom of God belongs to those who are like these children.15 I tell you the truth, anyone who doesn't receive the Kingdom of God like a child will never enter it."16 Then he took the children in his arms and placed his hands on their heads and blessed them.

42 So Jesus called them together and said, "You know that the rulers in this world lord it over their people, and officials flaunt their authority over those under them.43 But among you it will be different. Whoever wants to be a leader among you must be your servant,44 and whoever wants to be first among you must be the slave of everyone else.45 For even the Son of Man came not to be served but to serve others and to give his life as a ransom for many."

Mark 11

22 Then Jesus said to the disciples, "Have faith in God.23 I tell you the truth, you can say to this mountain, 'May you be lifted up and thrown into the sea,' and it will happen. But you must really believe it will happen and have no doubt in your heart.24 I tell you, you can pray for anything, and if you believe that you've received it, it will be yours.25 But when you are praying, first forgive anyone you are holding a grudge against, so that your Father in heaven will forgive your sins, too."

Jesus calls us into childlike faith and commitment. He wants you to belief in Him like a child, with all your heart and without any doubt. Like children we must also take our place in the back taking away any feelings of importance but rather become more like servants. It is in this serving that we can truly display the love of God, because God has send His only son to become a servant to the world. We must put ourselves last. Jesus mentions that with faith we will be able to move mountains. He says that if you believe that you received it, it will be yours.

For the glory of God is displayed in our lives through the many amazing things that God provides for us. In every moment and in everything is God’s will and blessing.

Let us give glory to God by becoming like children in humbling ourselves before God and truly believing in Him and just have faith.

To God be all the glory.

The truth about forgiveness
