at the door
"Look!
I stand at the door and knock. If you hear my voice and open the door, I will
come in, and we will share a meal together as friends.” (Revelation 3:20)
Every day we get the opportunity to start fresh. A new
day with new possibilities and new challenges comes along every 24 hours. As the
rays of the sun reaches out to touch the land a warm up the cold night, Jesus
also reaches out each day to warm up your life. Is your life to busy? Do you
run from point “A” to point “B” and it never seems as if there is enough time?
Does your day feel like it only has 20 hours while the rest of the world gets
24?
My dear friend, you are missing Jesus. He stands at your
door and knocks, let Him in and spend time with Him. Slow down for a minute and
enjoy the warmth of His companionship before you rush of. Let His gentle voice
calm your inner self and let His grace and love fill your cup so that it
overflows. Let the new day start with Jesus as your pre-breakfast and the rest
of your day will be a breeze of positive changes.
Come with me today as we have breakfast with Jesus and in
this new habit become great friends.
