Today Reminder – 08 December 2014 (Day 6 – A King)

A reminder for today
I am taking some time off my friend and will write to you again once I have returned from my journey. I often wonder where we are when we do not recognize the face looking back at us in the mirror. Life can often throw a few bumps in our direction and break a few dreams, yet we should remain focussed and faithful in Jesus. He knows best and His way is the right way. When we continue to follow His loving voice we will never be disappointed.

So I leave you with this last message. As they approached, Jesus said, "Now here is a genuine son of Israel—a man of complete integrity." "How do you know about me?" Nathanael asked. Jesus replied, "I could see you under the fig tree before Philip found you." Then Nathanael exclaimed, "Rabbi, you are the Son of God—the King of Israel!" (John 1:47-49)

As Christmas approach and the year finally comes to an end we are about to celebrate the birth of our saviour and King. If you have forgotten what it is all about and you are lost in your own troubles, here are my thoughts about that. Jesus said that He saw Nathanael when He was still under the fig tree. To me this means that Jesus saw you way before you came to Him. He loved you first and He watched you when you were still on your way to Him. You might feel a little lost some times but these are the times when you feel alone when Jesus is watching you, waiting for you. Just as He gave up His life for you He still stand each day watching you and calling out to you to come to Him.

Come and let us stand up from under our fig trees and walk up to Jesus. You are no stranger to Him. He knows who you really are and who you are supposed to be. He will guide you on your way so that you can reach your true identity in Him. You are a child of God and a friend of Jesus. Live it!!

Have an awesome day dear friend of Jesus

Cheers
