My prayer for you for today is that you will come to
realize your need for God in your life, in Jesus name.
Revelation
3:17
You
say, 'I am rich. I have everything I want. I don't need a thing!' And you don't
realize that you are wretched and miserable and poor and blind and naked.
Rich - You say, 'I
am rich. Jesus looked around and said
to His disciples, "How hard it is for the rich to enter the Kingdom of
God!" This amazed them. But Jesus said again, "Dear children, it
is very hard to enter the Kingdom of God. In fact, it is easier for a
camel to go through the eye of a needle than for a rich person to enter the
Kingdom of God!"(Mark 25)
How easily do we tend to forget God in our lives? Take a moment
and forget about all the worldly things that occupies your mind and empty your
thoughts, clear your mind and renew your focus on God. Remember fame and
fortune cannot take you to heaven, only Jesus can. There is nothing we can do
on this earth out of our own to grand us passage to heaven, it is only through
Jesus that you will enter the gates of heaven and pass the trial that lies
ahead.
My dear friend, it is in our humble dependence of God and
by diligently following His word that we will truly see and truly understand. It
is in our conviction in Him and in His word that we will find our purpose and
free ourselves from an empty world to become purpose driven mirrors that reflects
His glory. God’s glory cannot be seen in our possessions and in our success,
but only in our hearts.
Jesus
looked at them intently and said, "Humanly speaking, it is impossible. But
not with God. Everything is possible with God."
