A
reminder for today
So
King Shishak of Egypt came up and attacked Jerusalem. He ransacked the
treasuries of the LORD's Temple and the royal palace; he stole everything,
including all the gold shields Solomon had made. (2 Chronicles 12:9)
How are you my dear friend and how was your weekend? After
such an awesome week I had a challenging weekend. Saturday morning I picked up
two major injuries in our morning training and they seemed to escalate to an unbearable
state yesterday. This bombarded me with questions on the typical stuff, like
why and how and should I continue. I ended up in a place yesterday where I thought
that I am confused and this constant pain made everyday things difficult.
My dear friend, I realised once again that we live in
world where God’s kingdom is under constant attack and that our enemy hates it
when we prosper in God’s name and especially when we give Him all the glory. You
see the enemy wants you to fail in God’s army so that you can question God and
give up on Him.
We are always under surveillance from the enemy and they
are always looking for good time to bring us down and to turn our focus away
from God. This made me realise that with or without injuries I will continue my
struggle and do all that I can for the glory of our Lord and the continuous fight
to expand God’s kingdom.
Come with me today and let us pick up our armour and take
on this day, because the God that is within us is an all powerful God and nothing
can bring us down. Our strength and our determination come from an unlimited
source and God will never let us fail as long as we hold on to Him and follow
His direction and guidance. Our King is and was and will always be. There is no
other like Him.
Have and awesome day dear friend of Jesus
Cheers
