A reminder for today

Dear Lord, please walk beside me today and help me to understand and accept. Help me to become the person you want me to be and help me to live a life where you are always visible. Help me see other the way you see them and help me to accept their flaws as you accept mine. Help me to be free from my past and focus on rebuilding my future with you always present, in my heart and in my mind.

Help me seek your ways above the ways of man and help me to accept and follow your guidance all through my life. Help me be a friend for those in need and a stable hand for my children.

I pray for all my friends and family and all your followers that reads your blog today. I pray that your presence will fill their bodies and leave them in awe of your love. I pray that you fill each of them with peace and bless their day and all they do.

I pray that you free our minds from the world around us and align us with you so that this world will have no effect on us and that we will stand unwavering on your Word.

In Jesus name

Today Reminder – 7 August 2014 (Day 5 – Return to Proverbs)

A reminder for today Honour the LORD with your wealth and with the best part of everything you produce. Then he will fill your barns with grain, and your vats will overflow with good wine. (Proverbs 3:9-10) When we realise that all we are and all that we are good at is a blessing from the Lord we soon see how we can honour Him with these wonderful talents. I give all the credit to the Lord for all that I accomplish and all that I do and I am humbled by the way He continues to give me wisdom in my work. The promise here is much greater than we realise. When we honour Him with all that we produce, He will fill our barns and let our vats overflow. This to me means that the more we honour Him in what we produce (do) the more He will bless what we do up to the extend where we will see His blessings and they will leave us completely overwhelmed. In the end all that we have comes from God and He will increase what we have when we seek Him above all and live to bring glory to Him. ...

Today Reminder (Boxes) – 9 November 2017

A reminder for today   I am the Alpha and the Omega, the First and the Last, the Beginning and the End [the Eternal One]. (Revelation 22:13 ) When you are reading this, I will be well on my way to my parents. Today is their moving day and we are off to help. Now, when it comes to moving I am almost an expert. We moved a few times and I can tell you it was never fun. Even still today our furniture starts to shake when a truck drives by. Now moving is all about boxes. Your stuff goes into the box and then onto the truck and finally at the new destination the stuff comes out of the box. One thing I can tell you is that with every move our stuff got lesser and lesser, because I gave some away that I thought we do not need anymore. Some would think I just made it less and easier to move. I would argue the opposite, but surely everyone is entitled to their own opinion. When we look at life it is a bit like moving.
