A reminder for today
We had
to celebrate this happy day. For your brother was dead and has come back to
life! He was lost, but now he is found!' (Luke 15:32)
Life is all about changes and challenges. Sometimes we find
joy and sometimes we fail and we find unhappiness. Sometimes our journeys lead
us over mountains and sometimes we walk on roads. I have often written to you
about journeys and how life is filled with different journeys. What is in a journey?
We often wonder away and walk through darkness to find light. Our journeys
sometimes lead us into storms, but what do we do when we find the end of our
journey?
I have walked way for a while. Some may say you call it
soul searching and some would call it running away from destiny. Some would
call it lost and some would see it as opportunity. The fact remains that God
never leaves us and so I found myself walking beside a stream in my mind. It was
a beautiful little stream that winds and crinkles through a lush and evergreen forest.
At times it widened and became a river with rocks and rapids and sometimes it
will settle into a lake like river where you could see your reflection in the
water as you walk on. I kept walking with my head down as if I am in shame for
what I have done. The mistakes I have made and the sins of my life. A bright
light reflected of the water and forced me to look up. To look up and to find
myself out of the forest. The light reminded me of the ever present God and the
life He wants us to live.
So today I want to remind you that no one is lost until it
is the end. There is always hope and God never gives up. That is why there is a
huge celebration when a lost one is found. When someone who has fallen by the
pressures of life and now stands up again to walk their journey with the Lord.
Lord, I pray that your Word will break walls today and
bring people back to you. In Jesus name.
Have and awesome day dear friend of Jesus
Cheers
