Today Reminder - 20 November 2012 (Yes you)

A reminder for today
But Moses protested to God, "Who am I to appear before Pharaoh? Who am I to lead the people of Israel out of Egypt?" (Exodus 3:11)

Yes you!

Who am I… Do you find that we are easy to question or rather quick to question? When a task is laid on us out of our comfort zone, we question it. When we have to do something we do not like, we question it. When our job requires us to do something we do not like, we question it.

God brings so many things over our path and the way we look at these things will determine the outcome. We can stand and question it, or we can face it and do it. We could either query why we have to do it or we can see the opportunity to glorify God through it and do it passionately even if we do not like it. Your attitude towards it could affect those around you, and your attitude towards the task at hand will change the way you do it. If we complain about it and we do not really want to do it, we will not do it right. But if you change your attitude, trust God and do it with a positive mind set you will be great at it.

I love God’s answer to Moses in verse 12:  God answered, "I will be with you” Every time you are faced with difficulty and you fear what lies ahead, remember God is with you. Pharaoh did not let the Israelites leave on Moses’s first request, no he had to go through a number of requests before Pharaoh let them go and even then Pharaoh chased after them to destroy them. It may not work the first time, or the first hundred times, but in our perseverance and in our faith we will succeed and we will overcome each and every obstacle. It is in those quiet victories that we shine with God’s glory.

My dear friend, I pray that God will carry you through your difficult tasks and lead you patiently to success and that you will remain faithful every day, in Jesus name.

Have an awesome day, dear friend of Jesus.

Cheers
