A
reminder for today
The
wolf and the lamb will feed together. The lion will eat hay like a cow. But the
snakes will eat dust.
In those days no one will be hurt or destroyed on my holy mountain. I, the LORD, have spoken!" (Isaiah 65:25)
In those days no one will be hurt or destroyed on my holy mountain. I, the LORD, have spoken!" (Isaiah 65:25)
Is it easier to say 'Your sins are forgiven,' or 'Stand
up and walk'? (Matthew 9:5) I listened to an amazing message given by Pastor
Shane on Regret and what was evident from what he said is that we all deal and
carry regret in our lives. You know the kind that if you could have a do over
you will take it. The type of stuff that we do not wish to see on Facebook or
social media. Dealing with regret is something that we all struggle with and so
I want to look back at these words Jesus said: Is it easier to say 'Your sins
are forgiven,' or 'Stand up and walk'?
When we look at the resurrection and the whole process
that Jesus went through and we grasp the concept that He died and took with Him
our sins. This means that Jesus knew we will make a mistake and although He
does not want us to, we do. It is then when He comes and gives us the do over
moment. His love and His counselling are focussed on getting us back on track
and heading towards heaven. God does not want you to go to hell, going there is
a choice you make for yourself. God
wants you with Him and so He will do anything to make sure you reach your
destination, even if you fall a million times.
Jesus teaches us that He will forgive you for the same sin
seventy times seven each day. This is our example which means you must be that
forgiving too. Regret should not measure who you are, salvation and redemption
is the key to who you are and who you can become.
So today I want you to remember that your sins are
forgiven so stand up and walk. Stop allowing the enemy to condemn you, and
start living in the grace that Jesus is giving you. Stop looking back and start
moving towards you destiny. No person can take what you have in Jesus and no
mistake you made can alter His love for you. Do not believe that you are not
worthy of salvation, because salvation is for all of us. So you made a mistake,
I know and so does Jesus.
Stand up and walk, my friend, because in those days no one will be hurt or
destroyed on my holy mountain. I, the LORD, have spoken!"
Have and awesome day dear friend of Jesus
Cheers
