A reminder for
today
But now, O LORD, thou art our father; we are the clay, and thou our potter;
and we all are the work of thy
hand. Be not wroth very sore, O LORD, neither remember iniquity for ever:
behold, see, we beseech thee, we are
all thy people. (Isaiah 64:8-9)
One of the most wonderful but also most challenging things
in life is diversity. Why is this? God made all of us and when He looks at us He
sees His creation and His children. God does not look at your race or your
gender, he looks at your heart. It is the worldly nature in us and the self
that brought in diversity and race inequality. It is man that make himself so important
and then discriminates against colour and gender and even position or social statuses.
God is our Father and we are the clay. He moulded us from
nothing into what we are. We are the work of His hands and that is all of us. He
knew us before we were born, and He carefully combined all the gifts He had in
mind for us and formed us according to His will and plan. Nobody is perfect,
but everyone is perfectly designed.
We must steer away from discrimination and hatred and work towards
unity in Christ. When I look at all my followers on twitter and I read their
tweets and see the essence of their hearts I am convinced that it is not a difficult
thing to do. Once your heart is given to Jesus and you have accepted Him as
your saviour you are part of one huge family.
The kingdom of God is not a place where there will be
indifferences. We all read the same Bible and we believe the same gospel. We are
all saved by grace and filled with the Holy Spirit. It is only the world in us that
separates us and creates diversity. It is the God in us that desires love and peace
and understanding. Paul wrote that the fruits of the Spirit is love, joy,
peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, meekness and temperance.
This is what we must display through the way we live. This is
the real heart of God and how He wants His children to live. The enemy is all
for chaos, suffering, hate, anger, lies, pain, torture, blame, racism, differences
and he loves to point them out and fuel them. So, where is your heart?
My heart belongs to Jesus and I will live a life that will
show it to all around me. I will not be silent and if you are of this world I will
not stand back and be quiet. I will be bold, and I will be courageous.
Have an awesome day dear friend of Jesus.
Cheers
