A reminder for
today
Therefore rejoice, ye heavens, and ye that dwell in
them. Woe to the inhabiters of the earth and of the sea! for the devil is come
down unto you, having great wrath, because he knoweth that he hath but a short
time. (Revelation 12:12)
The world today is a hub of technology and fast paced
solutions to make life easier and faster. We have come to a place where people
will seek their answers online and not in the Bible. The world and the people
of this world has turned man against God by trying to take the Bible out of our
lives. This is what devil has been working for. He has been trying for decades
to pull God out of our lives and to make people worldlier. We see this in the exodus
on church goers and people believing all kinds of incorrect and fallible doctrines.
People will rather believe what is comfortable and easier than to follow God’s
word.
Jesus made it clear that His followers will face tribulation
and that the world that hated Him first will hate us also. This verse in
revelation seems so close to what we are facing today. If you just consider the
hatred, the double standards and the prejudice we face. It is clear that the
devil has come down unto us with great wrath, because he knows his time is
short.
This inevitably is good news for us, because this means that
the return of our Lord is close. It is also imperative that we stay focussed
and keep doing what He told us and that is to keep spreading the gospel and to keep
telling people of His grace and love.
It is also a huge motivator in a world that has fallen into
darkness for us to remain faithful and to keep fighting the good fight. Keep spreading
the truth and keep sharing the words of Jesus. Read you Bible, the whole one
and pray as often as you can. It is not easy, but you are not alone.
Be proud of your faith and do not stand back for anyone. Be proud
of who you are in Jesus and the message that you bring. Do not let the enemy
confuse you but reject him so that he will flee from you.
Have an awesome day dear friend of Jesus.
Cheers
