Reflections of faith (New) – 17 April 2019

A new commandment I give unto you, That ye love one another; as I have loved you, that ye also love one another. (John 13:34)

That you love one another as I have loved you. Possibly the hardest thing to do, but the greatest form of acceptance and forgiveness is when we actually love people the way Jesus loves us. For how many people will you give your life? I find myself in one of the most amazing places in my life. There is a huge storm raging around me and I am constantly under attack from the enemy, but my heart is at peace. It is the weirdest feeling ever to just completely trust God and see Him move. I have loaned quite a large amount to get my business running and I am trusting God completely for success and victories beyond my imagination. I have no idea what God has planned, I just know I trust Him, and I believe in Him more than ever. I have made huge adjustments in my life from forgiveness to accepting and I must admit it made me better. Well, much better. Suddenly I am fearless and far more courageous that ever before. I am so busy I can barely sit for a moment and I am so tired in the evenings, but I am happy, and my joy is not man made. My joy comes from God, because everything that is happening in my life is well above my understanding and most certainly from His love and grace. I am so blessed, and I am so content. We worship and amazing God and I am in awe of His wonders and His power in my life. This is just the beginning and I am just holding on allowing God to guide me and show me the way. So, today I want you to try and love people the way Jesus loves us. Love them completely and unconditionally and you will see a huge move in your heart and your happiness like never before.

Have an awesome day.

I love you, my friend in Jesus.

Cheers

Just to remind you

When I say that 'I am a Christian', I am not shouting that 'I am clean living. I'm whispering 'I was lost, but now I'm found and forgiven.'  When I say 'I am a Christian', I don't speak of this with pride. I'm confessing that I stumble and need Christ to be my guide.   When I say 'I am a Christian', I'm not trying to be strong. I'm professing that I'm weak and need His strength to carry on.  When I say 'I am a Christian', I'm not bragging of success. I'm admitting I have failed and need God to clean my mess.  When I say 'I am a Christian', I'm not claiming to be perfect. My flaws are far too visible, but God believes I am worth it. When I say 'I am a Christian', I still feel the sting of pain. I have my share of heartaches, so I call upon His name. When I say 'I am a Christian', I'm not holier than you. I’m just a simple sinner who received God...

Today Reminder – 7 August 2014 (Day 5 – Return to Proverbs)

A reminder for today Honour the LORD with your wealth and with the best part of everything you produce. Then he will fill your barns with grain, and your vats will overflow with good wine. (Proverbs 3:9-10) When we realise that all we are and all that we are good at is a blessing from the Lord we soon see how we can honour Him with these wonderful talents. I give all the credit to the Lord for all that I accomplish and all that I do and I am humbled by the way He continues to give me wisdom in my work. The promise here is much greater than we realise. When we honour Him with all that we produce, He will fill our barns and let our vats overflow. This to me means that the more we honour Him in what we produce (do) the more He will bless what we do up to the extend where we will see His blessings and they will leave us completely overwhelmed. In the end all that we have comes from God and He will increase what we have when we seek Him above all and live to bring glory to Him. ...

Today Reminder (Boxes) – 9 November 2017

A reminder for today   I am the Alpha and the Omega, the First and the Last, the Beginning and the End [the Eternal One]. (Revelation 22:13 ) When you are reading this, I will be well on my way to my parents. Today is their moving day and we are off to help. Now, when it comes to moving I am almost an expert. We moved a few times and I can tell you it was never fun. Even still today our furniture starts to shake when a truck drives by. Now moving is all about boxes. Your stuff goes into the box and then onto the truck and finally at the new destination the stuff comes out of the box. One thing I can tell you is that with every move our stuff got lesser and lesser, because I gave some away that I thought we do not need anymore. Some would think I just made it less and easier to move. I would argue the opposite, but surely everyone is entitled to their own opinion. When we look at life it is a bit like moving. You see we experience things in life and we box it. This c...
