Reflections of faith (Peace) – 29 April 2019

These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world. (John 16:33)

Fear is one of the most used tools the enemy has used over the centuries. Fear drives us away from the Father and creates distance between us and our purpose. God told Joshua to be strong and courageous and he took the Israelites into the promised land facing huge obstacles. Jesus says that we will face tribulation (suffering, pain or misfortune) but we must be of good cheer, because He has overcome the world. I have seen how God changes things every month thus far as I continue to live in faith and as I keep trusting Him. He’s blessings over my life is just unbelievable and I live amazed at how great God is. His peace overwhelms me, and I walk in faith every step of the way. Yes, I have challenges and yes, I face tribulation every day, but that Godly peace just flows through me. I chose Jesus and every day I wake in His blessings I chose Jesus again. I chose to live a life following His example and yes, I struggle, but I do not give up. The enemy is constantly busy with me, but I am not afraid anymore. I live for my God and I live for Him in all that I do. I try to be a good ambassador and yes, the enemy is trying his best to push me over and make me fall, but I have a secret. I have a living and almighty God that lives in me and I hear His voice. I follow that voice and I give my life for Him. He overcome this world, so this world has no hold on me and the ruler of this world has not grip on me. I am free and I am a child of God.

Have an awesome day.

I love you, my friend in Jesus.

Cheers

Just to remind you

When I say that 'I am a Christian', I am not shouting that 'I am clean living. I'm whispering 'I was lost, but now I'm found and forgiven.'  When I say 'I am a Christian', I don't speak of this with pride. I'm confessing that I stumble and need Christ to be my guide.   When I say 'I am a Christian', I'm not trying to be strong. I'm professing that I'm weak and need His strength to carry on.  When I say 'I am a Christian', I'm not bragging of success. I'm admitting I have failed and need God to clean my mess.  When I say 'I am a Christian', I'm not claiming to be perfect. My flaws are far too visible, but God believes I am worth it. When I say 'I am a Christian', I still feel the sting of pain. I have my share of heartaches, so I call upon His name. When I say 'I am a Christian', I'm not holier than you. I’m just a simple sinner who received God...

Today Reminder – 7 August 2014 (Day 5 – Return to Proverbs)

A reminder for today Honour the LORD with your wealth and with the best part of everything you produce. Then he will fill your barns with grain, and your vats will overflow with good wine. (Proverbs 3:9-10) When we realise that all we are and all that we are good at is a blessing from the Lord we soon see how we can honour Him with these wonderful talents. I give all the credit to the Lord for all that I accomplish and all that I do and I am humbled by the way He continues to give me wisdom in my work. The promise here is much greater than we realise. When we honour Him with all that we produce, He will fill our barns and let our vats overflow. This to me means that the more we honour Him in what we produce (do) the more He will bless what we do up to the extend where we will see His blessings and they will leave us completely overwhelmed. In the end all that we have comes from God and He will increase what we have when we seek Him above all and live to bring glory to Him. ...

Today Reminder (Boxes) – 9 November 2017

A reminder for today   I am the Alpha and the Omega, the First and the Last, the Beginning and the End [the Eternal One]. (Revelation 22:13 ) When you are reading this, I will be well on my way to my parents. Today is their moving day and we are off to help. Now, when it comes to moving I am almost an expert. We moved a few times and I can tell you it was never fun. Even still today our furniture starts to shake when a truck drives by. Now moving is all about boxes. Your stuff goes into the box and then onto the truck and finally at the new destination the stuff comes out of the box. One thing I can tell you is that with every move our stuff got lesser and lesser, because I gave some away that I thought we do not need anymore. Some would think I just made it less and easier to move. I would argue the opposite, but surely everyone is entitled to their own opinion. When we look at life it is a bit like moving. You see we experience things in life and we box it. This c...
