Today Reminder - 07 September 2012 (Sorrow)

My prayer for you today is that your sorrow will be wiped away by God, in Jesus name.

Revelation 21:4
“He will wipe every tear from their eyes, and there will be no more death or sorrow or crying or pain. All these things are gone forever."

Sorrow - There will be no more death or sorrow or crying or pain. It is raining again outside! What an awesome blessing to enter summer with so much (needed) rain. As the rain washes the earth cleaning it and rinsing it, I can’t help but to have this image of Jesus washing away our sins on the cross. There are so much to look forward to and so little time. This world is known for its pain and sorrow and death lurks around every corner. Oh how do I long for a time where there will be no more pain and no more sorrow.

My dear friend, is your heart broken today? Are you going through a tough time? Is there pain that needs to heal? Just like the rain washes away the dust and dirt, God will washes away your pain and He will wipe the tears from your eyes. It is in our trust in God that we will break free from a world that pulls us down and long for a new world, a world with endless possibilities.

Come with me today as we lay our burdens in His hands and let Him take away our pain. Let the grace and mercy of God’s great love fill your whole existence and free you from all your grief. Let Him bring sunshine into your life as the rain ends and the clouds disappear. Let a new season full of victories begin as we celebrate the end of winter.

Have an awesome day dear friend of Jesus. Let it rain…

Cheers

Today Reminder - 06 September 2012 (Rain)

My prayer for you for today is that the rain of God’s grace and blessing wash over you today to free you from your burdens, in Jesus name.

Psalm 147:8
He covers the heavens with clouds, provides rain for the earth, and makes the grass grow in mountain pastures.

Rain - (Revelation 21:1) Then I saw a new heaven and a new earth, for the old heaven and the old earth had disappeared. And the sea was also gone. How blessed are we to have had such an awesome night where it rained and rained. I love the rain, especially a rainy night. When you wake up in the morning all seems so clean and new and the air is so clear. I get this image of God’s promise of a new heaven and new earth after the return of our Lord. Looking up at the clouds and listening to the relaxing rhythm of the rain falling on our roof, my heart rejoices knowing that by God’s grace we are all able to enter through the gates of heaven and share in eternity with the Almighty God.

My dear friend let it rain in your life today and let God wash away all that keeps you from His love and mercy. Let the storms of life be silenced by the constant relaxing rain drops of God’s grace that falls on you. Let the rain of God bring forth a new burst of life in you and set you on a journey of boldness for His glory. Let the rain of His love reign in you today and forever. Let it rain dear friend, let it rain…

Have an awesome day, dear friend of Jesus

Cheers

Today Reminder - 05 September 2012 (Battle)

My prayer for you for today is that you will come to know how great God is as He leads you into victory, in Jesus name.

Psalm 144:1
Praise the LORD, who is my rock. He trains my hands for war and gives my fingers skill for battle.

The battle continuous - He trains my hands for war. In the midst of our worries and fears God is our rock and our salvation. He rescues us from our own misfortune and sets our feet on the right path. He guides and protects us as we travel the roads of this life and He holds us firmly in His hand protecting us from all evil.

Call out to the Lord our God and ask Him to train your hands for war and give your fingers skill for battle as we fight the evil of this world with Him as our rock. Stand with me today as we will seek victory in all our battles and glorify God for His victories in our lives. The enemy knows his time is short and he will be relentless in his attacks to bring us down and create distance between us and the Lord.

My dear friend, you are a mighty warrior. The Spirit that dwells in you is a force of unlimited power that makes you a dangerous weapon against the forces of evil in this world. Do not fear for the Spirit in you is a Spirit of courage and strength. Stand up when you are down and rest when you are tired and call out the name of the Lord as the victory is already in your grasp.

(Revelation 15:4) Who will not fear you, Lord, and glorify your name? For you alone are holy.
All nations will come and worship before you, for your righteous deeds have been revealed."

Have an awesome day, dear friend of Jesus

Today Reminder - 04 September 2012 (Increases)

My prayer for you for today is that you will live to live with God in eternity, in Jesus name.

Revelation 6:5-6
When the Lamb broke the third seal, I heard the third living being say, "Come!" I looked up and saw a black horse, and its rider was holding a pair of scales in his hand. And I heard a voice from among the four living beings say, "A loaf of wheat bread or three loaves of barley will cost a day's pay. And don't waste the olive oil and wine."

Another price increase - A loaf of wheat bread or three loaves of barley will cost a day's pay. I have found myself quite often nowadays looking at prices and thinking how quickly things are just becoming more and more expensive, and I wonder where it all will end. It seems as if our salaries are shrinking and our budgets don’t balance anymore. Medicine is ridiculously expensive and doctors also. Every year prices goes up and our salary increases seem so small in comparison. I was just thinking about the gasoline increase yesterday and what impact that will have on our already overburdened budget.

When I read this scripture this morning I thought I just had to share it. Revelation is a book that we don’t read so often, and I think it is maybe due to the complexity of the book and the constant reminder of a world that will soon end. This scripture just confirmed what I have written about so many times before. This world as we know it will end, and our time here is just temporary.

My dear friend, don’t hold on to this world but seek the kingdom of God. Make haste in your decision, because time is running out. The day of the Lord is coming and you must be ready for it. Don’t be fooled and mislead by those that is worldly, but let the Spirit of God guide you.  The people of this world will seek scientific answers for everything, but the Word of God is clear on this.

Now concerning how and when all this will happen, dear brothers and sisters, we don't really need to write you. For you know quite well that the day of the Lord's return will come unexpectedly, like a thief in the night. (1 Thessalonians 5)

Have an awesome day, dear friend of Jesus

Cheers

Today Reminder - 03 September 2012 (Doors)

My prayer for you for today is that you will hear the voice of the Lord and open the door of your heart, in Jesus name.

Revelation 3:20
"Look! I stand at the door and knock. If you hear my voice and open the door, I will come in, and we will share a meal together as friends.”

Doors - Look! I stand at the door and knock. Have you ever been to door and no one answers – frustrating! I believe that every day creates new doors in our lives and each door is either a new opportunity or something that we keep behind a closed door. We too can be seen as a door, our doors either open to Jesus or we keep them closed.

As each day starts, Jesus comes to knock on your door. When you start your day with Him and allow Him in and share with Him, you day is bound to be successful. Jesus says when you hear my voice and open the door, in this He refers to an old parable – the sheep that recognises the voice of the shepherd and follows Him. We hear His voice and we react to a familiar voice.

Sharing a meal together as friends is also such a powerful statement. When you eat with your friends it is in an environment where you are comfortable and relaxed. You share the good and the bad times and talking with friends opens the opportunity to lighten the load and regain new focus and objectives. When Jesus enters through your door, He doesn’t only want to be with you, but He also wants to help you with you problems and carry the burdens that you drag behind you.

When you open the door and allow Jesus into your life, His presence will make you stronger and more focussed. His voice will be clearer and letting Him walk with you will ultimately build a better relationship with Him.

My dear friend, open the door and let your day start with Jesus. Let Him enter into your life and let Him share in your good and bad. Hear His voice and follow His Word as you seek His presence every day. Be patient and allow Him to work in His time by fully trusting Him in every success and every obstacle and giving Him the glory for all that you are.

Have an awesome day, dear friend of Jesus

Cheers
