Today's thought - 02 August 2025

There will always be people in need. Need is not always physical but in many cases people are spiritually poor. They go to church and call themselves Christians but they are poor in the Kingdom of heaven and some of them will not see heaven.

Jesus also said: Not everyone who says to Me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ shall enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father in heaven. Who is poor around you and does not know God?

It is them we need to pray for and ask God that they will see the light and it will remove their darkness. Jesus also said if you did it to the least in my Kingdom, you did it to me.

My friend the need is great and we should never ignore the opportunity to share the gift of Jesus Christ. If you consider those who are poor the promise God has is so amazing. Give your time, talent and treasure to the Kingdom of God and He will deliver you, preserve you, bless you and strengthen you.

Nothing we do for God is ever wasted.

I am adding on to yesterday. As the week pushes forward so does everything that comes with it. God specifically says do not wonder away because something new is going to happen.

I am sick this week but funny enough I think the Lord is forcing me to rest for what lies ahead. To be honest with you, I truly have no fear.

God did not give us a Spirit of fear, but of power and love and a sound mind. God says He will give rest to the weary and joy to those who sorrow just as Jesus told us to come to Him and He will give you rest.

This rest is complete restoration and renewal of your strength. Knowing this we will sleep better and wake up knowing God will make all things work out for good.

Fear not my friend for the joy of the Lord is our strength.

Doing life for Jesus Christ

I often think that God surely made a mistake when He called me to take up my cross and follow Him. How many of us come to a point where God expects a little more, but we are so stuck in our past and our mistakes that we decline and passively continues with our mediocre Christian lives.

I have made a ton of mistakes in my life, but the moment I realized that we are all called, but God only uses the willing and the minute these two sides of you find each other, then God will change your life.

The minute you realize that Jesus died for all your sin, thus fully cleansed you from all of it and that satan has no right over you anymore combined with the fact that God qualifies those He called and those of them that answer His call.

God surely does not look for mister right nor does He look for mister perfect. He takes those of us with the fire of the Holy Spirit in us regardless of who we are, and He sends us where He needs us.

As the devil comes to accuse you, remind him how far the east is from the west. Take your stand and put on your armor of God. Jesus said that all authority has been given to Him, so you stand in that authority and in His victory.

Don’t be afraid to share His gospel, because time is running out.

This is such a powerful scripture. God says that He has loved you with an everlasting love. Unfailing and drawing you close to Himself.

Even when we were sinners God loved us and worked to guide us to Him. I think sitting here this morning knowing that the God who created heaven and earth and a vast and infinite universe has loved me and still does no matter what my past looks like.

The minute we right size God and we begin to see and understand His Word. We tend to feel small. How amazing is our God and how wonderful is His love.

My dear friend, this morning God wants you to know that He will turn your mourning into joy and take away your sorrow. Rejoice with me as we take on this day knowing who God is.

For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places.

This is on my heart this morning to remind you that the battle is real and it is going on around us. The minute you accepted Jesus as your saviour you were enlisted into this war.

There are mainly three inportant things you need to stand your ground.

1) Always ask God to put His armour on you.

2) Prayer is far more powerful that you think. Pray passionately in the Spirit, as you constantly intercede with every form of prayer at all times. Pray the blessings of God upon all his believers.

3) Praise and worship. The enemy does not like it when you praise and worship God.

Finally you can do all things through Jesus Christ who gives you strength.

Today's thought - 29 July 2025

Jesus said: Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. God created Sunday as your day of rest and go to His house and be refreshed by His Word. Three things to consider:

1) Are you tired? In aligning your life with Jesus the weight of the world will lighten as He steps in and help.

2) Learn His ways. Spend time in the Word. Go to church. Share the gospel and desire an intimate relationship with the Holy Spirit.

3) What God requires is easy to bear. You can do anything through Jesus that strengthens you. Living a life according to His will, will give you everlasting peace and true freedom.

Those who live in the shelter of the Most High will find rest in the shadow of the Almighty. In Jesus you will have strength to soar and you will not get weary.

Today's thought - 28 July 2025

The people wanted to put Jeremiah to death for bringing God’s Word to them by saying they should repent of their evil ways and then God will not continue with the evil He pronounced against them. God calls all of us.

We are called to live a life committed to His ways and to carry His Word every where you go. The minute you start this you will be facing more and more trials. Believe me I am constantly under attack as the enemy fights to make me fall.

I have to take my thoughts captive every moment each day and resist the enemy. Some will embrace the gift of salvation and some will not. Where are you in your walk with Jesus? What does your time in the Word look like? A friend of mine said if your Bible falls apart from use your life will not. I urge you to seek God and spend time in His Word.

He will bless your life and you will have complete peace and share this gift.

Today's thought - 27 July 2025

Last night the Holy Spirit reminded me of James 1. We must never think with a wordly mindset rather think with God in the right place. God will make all things work out for good and even in our worst darkest place, He steps in and strengthen us. James says a crown of life awaits you when you endure temptation.

This is a promise by God. Jesus said He came so that you have life in abundance. This means free from fear and sin and truly living righteous because in this lies a great reward. My dear friend, why does the enemy work so hard to keep you from a life lived as God intended?

He knows the power that is in you and once you are aligned with the Holy Spirit and you walk in full obedience, then you are a mayor problem for satan. Then you will truly experience God in everything and you will impact the world around you and God will bless you in everything. Believe me, the journey is not easy but the reward is so worth it.

Come with me today as we fully dedicate our lives in obedience to God’s Word.

Today's thought - 26 July 2025

I think the very first line summarises it. Live carefully. Paul writes here in Ephesians that we should walk as children of the light because the fruit of the Spirit is in all goodness and righteousness and truth.

To take full advantage of every day is living completely for God’s purpose. As we align ourselves more and more with God’s will and continually be filled by the Holy Spirit we grow in power and strength in God who works through us.

The more we seek Him, the more we become like Him. Ask for wisdom and listen to His voice. We live in evil times and the only way we can overcome all evil and all attacks is if we live close to God.

My dear friend, do not neglect your time with God and reading His Word. His Word is the very power that we have to resist the enemy when he comes with his lies and deceit. Let no man deceive you and steer clear of them.

Walk in the light and desire fellowship with God.

Today's thought - 25 July 2025

Today God places this on my heart. He is not a distant God nor is He a passive God. He is up close and with you at all times. He sees and knows all you do and all you face. He knows the inner most intimate thoughts of each of us. He shares in our joy and also in our pain.

He sees your hurt and your troubles. He clearly states that His Word is a fire and stone destroying hammer. There is so much power in God’a Word that is why we must spend time in it.

Paul wrote: For we have the living Word of God, which is full of energy, like a two-mouthed sword. It will even penetrate to the very core of our being where soul and spirit, bone and marrow meet! It interprets and reveals the true thoughts and secret motives of our hearts. There is not one person who can hide their thoughts from God, for nothing that we do remains a secret, and nothing created is concealed, but everything is exposed and defenseless before his eyes, to whom we must render an account.

He knows, just trust Him and seek Him.
