reminder for today
Then
the Lord God said, "It is not good for the man to be alone...."
(Genesis 2:18)
Family and friends – what a blessing it is to have a family
and good friends. Having our family over and spending time with them made me
think that today I would like to remind you how important they are in our
lives. God brings people into our lives to enrich and support us in our
journey. Family being the closest is always the most involved in our lives.
It is such a blessing to see the excitement in their eyes
as they are happy to see us and to laugh, listen and share as time goes by so
quickly. I only wish that we could and would spend more time with our families,
as they are part of the pillars that God places in our lives to keep us
standing.
My dear friend, we are not made to be alone. We are made
to have friends and be part of our families. We should look past our
differences and replace any, if any, with love and understanding. We must share
and give and encourage and support each other for we are God’s children and in
His family love always overcomes all.
I pray that you too will see the treasure that God has
given you in family and friends, and that you will treasure this gift each day
for His glory, in Jesus name.
