Five
power verses – Day 1
"For
God loved the world so much that He gave His one and only Son, so that everyone
who believes in Him will not perish but have eternal life.” (John 3:16)
In the midst of all the rush and worldly problems we are
all faced with one question: Will we perish or will be live eternally? When the
world around us stops making sense and we are tired and burdened, there is one
constant that should drive us and keep us focussed. This constant is Jesus
Christ. This is the one thing that should uplift your spirit and turn your feet
into dancing.
To love is to sacrifice and to sacrifice is to commit. To
love this world so much and give your only son for the salvation of all is love
in its very essence. Receiving this gift is one part of it, but living this
gift is so very important.
My dear friend, to believe in Jesus Christ means that
eternity lies in your grasp. You will not perish but gain freedom, and in this
freedom you will live eternally with our Lord. Let Jesus be your focus point
and the driving power behind your perseverance. But don’t just receive, also
give. Your joy and happiness can lighten up someone else’s pain and darkness. Don’t
keep this gift for yourself, but rather share it. Share it, by living it.
