A
reminder for today
"The
LORD will guarantee a blessing on everything you do and will fill your
storehouses with grain. The LORD your God will bless you in the land He is
giving you. (Deuteronomy 28:8)
Blessed are you:
It is funny how we think. We travel on our life journey
and every time we face a new obstacle or find ourselves in unknown waters, we
tend to fear and worry. Finances can be a huge concern that weight heavy on
many shoulders. Prices increase and old things break and needs to be replaced. People
lose their jobs or they are retrenched. Salary increases are low in comparison to
inflation that seems to rise over night. Financially we can carry many heavy burdens.
Then of course with too much one can easily slip into idolatry when money
becomes your master.
My dear friend, whether you have enough or too little,
God will bless you and fill your storehouses. He will bless you in the place
where you find yourself and He will pick you up out of the dirt and restore you
where you have lost hope. He will fold you in His arms and lead you to
redemption. Even with the little we have we are blessed beyond our own belief.
God is always there and He is always ready to help you. I have stood at His
feet so many times with so many worries and it all seems to fall in place when I
place them at His feet and trust His voice. God has so much love for each one
of us. We should not allow fear to take God’s place but instead allow God to
take fear’s place.
Here is something Jesus said that I keep on my lips and
in my mind every day even when the rain seems so distant, even then it is so
important that you remember this:
Look
at the birds. They don't plant or harvest or store food in barns, for your
heavenly Father feeds them. And aren't you far more valuable to Him than they
are? Can all your worries add a single moment to your life?
"And why worry about your clothing? Look at the lilies of the field and how they grow. They don't work or make their clothing, yet Solomon in all his glory was not dressed as beautifully as they are. And if God cares so wonderfully for wildflowers that are here today and thrown into the fire tomorrow, He will certainly care for you. Why do you have so little faith? (Matthew 6:26-30)

I pray that you will be filled with faith as you place
your heart and your trust in God who made heaven and earth and that He will
take away your tears and replace them with shouts of joy, in Jesus name.
Have an awesome day dear friend of Jesus
Cheers
