Today Reminder – 01 June 2015 (Day 1 – Break the walls)

A reminder for today
"Arise, Jerusalem! Let your light shine for all to see. For the glory of the LORD rises to shine on you. (Isaiah 60:1)

It is June. The year is flying by at a tremendous pace. The past two months has changed my life completely and brought so much pain and hurt into my little world. This month we are going to break the walls that keep us from Jesus and align us with His plan and His will.

My friend, today I want you to rise and let your light shine. The light that shines from within you is the light of Jesus and therefore nothing that you do can hide or break it. His light is the life force that drives us and strengthens us. He is the air that we breathe and the life that dwells in us. You are good enough. There is nothing that you do or did that can change the way God loves you.

When we rise today the glory of our God will shine on us and deliver us from the evil that wants to consume us. His glory will lift us up and restore us. I am not afraid anymore and I will not be dismayed. He is with me, standing beside me. He is my shelter and my tower of refuge.

No matter what lies ahead, let us trust Him and fear no more.

Come and let us allow Jesus to teach us and guide us so that we can break the walls that keep us from living completely. Let His light fill all of us and let us just worship Him.

I cannot live without Him. He is my God and King, my all.

Have and awesome day dear friend of Jesus

Cheers

Just to remind you

When I say that 'I am a Christian', I am not shouting that 'I am clean living. I'm whispering 'I was lost, but now I'm found and forgiven.'  When I say 'I am a Christian', I don't speak of this with pride. I'm confessing that I stumble and need Christ to be my guide.   When I say 'I am a Christian', I'm not trying to be strong. I'm professing that I'm weak and need His strength to carry on.  When I say 'I am a Christian', I'm not bragging of success. I'm admitting I have failed and need God to clean my mess.  When I say 'I am a Christian', I'm not claiming to be perfect. My flaws are far too visible, but God believes I am worth it. When I say 'I am a Christian', I still feel the sting of pain. I have my share of heartaches, so I call upon His name. When I say 'I am a Christian', I'm not holier than you. I’m just a simple sinner who received God...

Today Reminder – 7 August 2014 (Day 5 – Return to Proverbs)

A reminder for today Honour the LORD with your wealth and with the best part of everything you produce. Then he will fill your barns with grain, and your vats will overflow with good wine. (Proverbs 3:9-10) When we realise that all we are and all that we are good at is a blessing from the Lord we soon see how we can honour Him with these wonderful talents. I give all the credit to the Lord for all that I accomplish and all that I do and I am humbled by the way He continues to give me wisdom in my work. The promise here is much greater than we realise. When we honour Him with all that we produce, He will fill our barns and let our vats overflow. This to me means that the more we honour Him in what we produce (do) the more He will bless what we do up to the extend where we will see His blessings and they will leave us completely overwhelmed. In the end all that we have comes from God and He will increase what we have when we seek Him above all and live to bring glory to Him. ...

Today Reminder (Boxes) – 9 November 2017

A reminder for today   I am the Alpha and the Omega, the First and the Last, the Beginning and the End [the Eternal One]. (Revelation 22:13 ) When you are reading this, I will be well on my way to my parents. Today is their moving day and we are off to help. Now, when it comes to moving I am almost an expert. We moved a few times and I can tell you it was never fun. Even still today our furniture starts to shake when a truck drives by. Now moving is all about boxes. Your stuff goes into the box and then onto the truck and finally at the new destination the stuff comes out of the box. One thing I can tell you is that with every move our stuff got lesser and lesser, because I gave some away that I thought we do not need anymore. Some would think I just made it less and easier to move. I would argue the opposite, but surely everyone is entitled to their own opinion. When we look at life it is a bit like moving. You see we experience things in life and we box it. This c...
