A
reminder for today
But
the LORD says: "Now I will stand up. Now I will show my power and might. (Isaiah 33:10)
We travel on our journey and we struggle through all the
difficult paths that lie on this journey. Every struggle intended to break us
and destroy will only bring us closer to God. When our battles seem impossible
and our destiny a mere glimmer in the distance, then we need to seek God and we
need to spend our time with Him.
As we move forward this month I can feel the Lord saying
that now He will stand up with us and now He will show His power and might in
our faith and in our commitment to Him. It is said that love overcomes all, and
this my friend is the basis of our faith. In love God gave His only son, Jesus
Christ, do take our sins away from us. It is this love that God sets in our
hearts as we love each other. It is the very antidote to all the storms the
enemy can ever bring on us. God is love and with love we will overcome all, because
love destroys hate and anger and jealousy and love forgives and forgets.
Now stand up my friend and let us live to show God’s
glory through our love for other. Let is move past our history and focus on
today, because today we live.
The
LORD will be our Mighty One. He will be like a wide river of protection that no
enemy can cross, that no enemy ship can sail upon (verse 21)
