A
reminder for today
But
the wisdom from above is first of all pure. It is also peace loving, gentle at
all times, and willing to yield to others. It is full of mercy and good deeds. (James
3:17)
It is hard to suppress who we are. The individual that
God created will always break out and find his way to the surface of who we
are. We can try to alter our personality to fit other, but in the end we will
always fall back onto who we are. Our individuality is unique and almost
impossible to suppress and hide. When we find ourselves in a comfortable space
our individuality will flourish. It is the moment we must submit and change ourselves
for the benefit of other that we become rebels in our own bodies. This inner
conflict will continue until we let our individuality out to freely be who we
are. Friends or co-workers can sometimes have a negative impact on who we are
so we might try to fit in to make them happy and then unknowingly we try to
overpower who we are. This will enhance our inner conflict until we realise
that we were meant to be different and we do not fit in with that crowd.
It is imperative that we seek God’s wisdom, because His
wisdom is pure and it will show us the correct way and correct way to be who we
are meant to be. When we listen to His wisdom we will find peace that will last
and we will willingly yield, because it does not go against our core self. When
we are ourselves we will flow with mercy and good deeds as we are who we are
and thus being who God intended us to be.
My dear friend, do not change your core to be who you are
not. It will destroy you and make you extremely unhappy. It will cause distance
between you and the Father and this is not how God intended us to be. God wants
us to be happy and to live happily in His mercy and blessings. He does not want
you to be unhappy and broken all the time.
Lord, guide us to be ourselves and lead us to your wisdom
so that we can be ourselves for your glory. In Jesus name.
Let every knee bow down and every voice declare that
Jesus Christ is the Lord.
Have and awesome day dear friend of Jesus.
Cheers
