A reminder for
today
Furthermore, because
we are united with Christ, we have received an inheritance from God, for he
chose us in advance, and he makes everything work out according to his plan. (Ephesians 1:11)
In my job you must always have a plan. There is always a
request to add or change something and sometimes these request require a lot of
work and a very good plan. In the last release we wanted to add something nice
for our clients and the idea of shortcuts on our menu would do the trick. It
took a number of plans and a lot of changes to make this dream a reality and
the end product was just amazing. It took collaboration between our COBOL and
our dot net teams to make this all so amazing. I love it when you give me something
near impossible and we are able to produce it. It just highlights the talents
God gave us and it surely emphasizes His hand in our work.
What we forget in life is that God makes everything work out
according to His plan. It is never about us but always about His glory.
Sometimes life takes us on a journey completely opposite the idea we had and we
forget that it is God’s plan and in the end it will all workout and we will
understand. We forget that this life is only temporary and that the life
hereafter is the life that is important and what we do now effects our path
forward.
So today I want you to remember that it is all about God’s
plan and if you do not understand it now, it will makes sense in the end. Live
so that you will live in eternity. Live according to God’s plan and listen to
His Word so that you will meet Him when He comes. Be ready all the time and do
not allow this world to influence you, instead influence the world.
Lord, it is all about you. In Jesus name.
