A reminder for
today
And if you offer
yourself to [assist] the hungry and satisfy the need of the afflicted, then
your light will rise in darkness and your gloom will become like midday. (Isaiah 58:10)
There are several types of fasting. The one you choose is
between you and God. He will honour your best sacrifice.
1. Full Fast Drink only liquids (you establish the number of
days).
Please take note that a full fast should not be entered into
lightly. Research and preparation is crucial – and consult your doctor if you
have any conditions which need to be taken into account. It is dangerous to
your health to embark on a full fast without the necessary preparation.
2. The Daniel Fast Eat no meat, no sweets and no bread.
Drink water and juice. Eat fruits and vegetables.
3. 3-Day Fast This fast can be a Full Fast, Daniel Fast or
give up at least one item of food.
4. Partial Fast A partial fast is from 6:00 am to 3:00 pm or
from sun up to sundown. You can select from three types of fasting —a Full
Fast, Daniel Fast or give up at least one item of food. Scripture
