Today Reminder (Wait for the Lord) – 03 January 2018

A reminder for today
But those who wait for the Lord [who expect, look for, and hope in Him] Will gain new strength and renew their power; They will lift up their wings [and rise up close to God] like eagles [rising toward the sun]; They will run and not become weary, they will walk and not grow tired. (Isaiah 40:31)

It is a new year and normally we would chat about new year resolutions and what your plans and dreams are for the year ahead. It is good to start a new year with a few new resolutions and a few dreams. Mostly people want to lose weight this time of the year due to a very festive season. Some might dream of a new house or a new car or maybe upgrading the existing ones and some might have dreams as high as the stars.

This year I know is going to be an awesome year, but what I would like us to focus on is to wait for the Lord. You see we get annoyed and irritated and we make hasty decisions, but this year I want us to steer clear of hasty decisions and be patient as we wait for the Lord.

Look at the promise when we wait on the Lord and we follow His plans. We will gain new strength and our power will be renewed. We will be lifted up as if we have wings like an eagle and we will run, but not get weary. We will not grow tired, because we are following His voice and His plan and in that God, will uplift us and continually strengthen us and give us power.

This is huge, and I pray this over your life. I pray that you will be patient as you wait on the Lord and that His strength will be your strength and that you will get power to face each day and continue to walk and never grow tired.

Lord, what an awesome promise and I pray that you will bless us with wisdom and help us to hear your voice and be patient so that we will fall in to what you have planned. In Jesus name.

Have an awesome day dear friend of Jesus.

Cheers
