A reminder for
today
The LORD thy God in the midst of thee is mighty; he will
save, he will rejoice over thee with joy; he will rest in his love, he will joy
over thee with singing. (Zephaniah
3:17)
This weekend was so quick and yet it was another sad day for
Farmers. One of my colleagues lives on a farm where she has horses. She was
attacked and shot and is currently in ICU fighting for he life. Her brother was
not so lucky. If you think the plea we have for our farmers and the lives of
white South Africans is pure propaganda you are seriously mistaken. This
weekend three culprits were arrested close to our home by the efforts of
private security companies and the police. It is closer than we think.
What does God say about how He feels when He looks at you.
Many of us live in a distorted misconception that we are not good enough and
that is exactly what the enemy wants you to think. This is what God says. God
said that He will save. He will save us from this evil that lurks around every
corner waiting to devour us. He will save us from the enemy and those from the
darkness. He will restore our land and He will come again.
When He looks at you He rejoices, and He will joy over you
with singing. When God sees you, He sees the love that He has for you and the
time He carefully designed you and then created you. He sees His creation and
the what He has in planned for you. He sees what you are and what you can be,
and He blesses you each day with live. The Lord our God is close to us and He
is mighty.
This is what I pray over you today, my friend: I will say of the LORD, He is my refuge and my fortress: my
God; in him will I trust. Surely he shall deliver thee from the snare of the
fowler, and from the noisome
pestilence. He shall cover thee with his feathers, and under his wings shalt
thou trust: his truth shall be thy
shield and buckler. Thou shalt not be afraid for the terror by night; nor for the arrow that flieth by day.
