Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the
life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me. (John 14:6)
It is that time of the year where we are tired and irritated,
and we need a break. It is also the time of year where the challenges of a past
year has build up to a place where we just want to give up. It is hard in some
examples as giving up can lead to depression and suicide. Where are you in this
example? How do you feel and is it just too much at the moment?
Jesus said that He is the way and the only way, but He also
said don’t worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will bring its own worries.
Today’s trouble is enough for today. Jesus made the comparison about the birds
and how God looks after them and that you are far more valuable to Him. Behold
the fowls of the air: for they sow not, neither do they reap, nor gather into
barns; yet your heavenly Father feedeth them. Are ye not much better than they?
Which of you by taking thought can add one cubit unto his stature? (Matthew 6)
Worry is a tool used by the enemy to create distance between
us and God and make holes in our faith. Jesus is the way and His way is above
worries and above stress and above the burdens that is hammering you down. Take
a moment and just give it all to Him and ask Him to renew your strength in
whatever is lying ahead.
God will never forsake you nor leave you. He loves you and
you need to trust His timing and His will. Come with me as we give all those
worries to the Lord and let us look at the birds and remember we are far more
valuable to our Father. You are never alone and there is no measure of darkness
that God cannot reach and pull you out from.
Have an awesome day.
I love you, my friend in Jesus.
