Today Reminder – 13 March 2014 (Day 9 – My Strength)

A reminder for today
The LORD rescues the godly; he is their fortress in times of trouble. The LORD helps them, rescuing them from the wicked. He saves them, and they find shelter in him. (Psalm 37:39-40)

I love the phrase “Don’t tell the Lord how big your problems are. Tell your problems how big your God is”. Once again we get confirmation here in psalm 37 that the Lord is our fortress where we find shelter. He rescues us from our problems and He helps us.

In this month where we seek the Lord for strength we need to speak life over ourselves and over the people around us. We must use this month to move closer to the Lord and feel how His presence in our lives not only sends streams of strength through us, but also brings a constant feeling of content and peace.

My dear friend, each day we travel on our journey we face many problems and we are constantly burdened with everyday life issues that the enemy so easily trough on our paths. Our very existence is bombarded with constant attacks to lure us into deception and to make us fall.

I see how the Lord is taking you by the hand and letting you come into His presence where you are sheltered away from the storm. He lets you rest in His home and He brings you food to refresh your weary feet.  He covers you in warm blankets as you fall asleep with Him right there by your feet, watching over you as you rest.

You awaken to a new day, refreshed and restored. This is how I see you each day safely in His hands.

Oh Lord we lift up our hands and worship you. Come and give us rest as we seek our shelter by you. Restore us Lord and renew our strength so that we can stand and face all that life has to offer. Let us show your presence in our abilities as we watch the enemy run and hide at the sight of You. In Jesus name.

Have and awesome day dear friend of Jesus

Cheers
