A
reminder for today
It is
better to be godly and have little than to be evil and rich. For the strength
of the wicked will be shattered, but the LORD takes care of the godly. (Psalm
37:16-17)
Wow!! The strength of the wicked will be shattered and
the Lord takes care of the godly. What a promise! Just before that David wrote
that it is better to have little and be godly than to have a lot and be evil.
How much energy do we put in our never ending need to have more? How much of
your precious strength do you lose in a non-stop desire for more?
It is a trap that so many innocent people fall into and
it can ruin so many beautiful lives. Our strength comes from the Lord and He
takes care of us. We should strive and desire a relationship with Him above all
else. When this relationship reaches the point where you trust completely you
will see the Lord’s hand as He takes care of you.
Instead of longing and desiring the worldly, we should
desire the heavenly. When we are aligned with God our strength will have no
limits and our faith no boundaries. Then we will see mountains being moved and
hearts changed.
Your strength is from the Lord He will take care of you.
This is a limitless vast amount of unlimited strength that will make you rise
above all and above all that is worldly.
Seek
the Kingdom of God above all else, and live righteously, and He will give you
everything you need. (Matthew 6:33)
