Today Reminder – 08 April 2014 (Day 6 – My Life)

A reminder for today
“But giving thanks is a sacrifice that truly honours me. If you keep to my path, I will reveal to you the salvation of God." (Psalm 50:23)

Life – Life Is Feeling Elated.

How do we say thank you Lord, when you give so much. How do we try and show our appreciation when our words are so small? How can we ever repay the gift that we have in you Lord?

Hear our words of appreciation and listen to our songs of thankfulness, Oh Lord our God. Here we stand with hands lifted high and hearts filled with joy as tears of gratitude roll down our faces. Let our words honour you Lord as we announce your blessings in our lives and acknowledge your hand over us. Let all who hear our cries of joy know that you are God and that you are the reason for all our success.

Walk with us, Lord, as we keep on your path and as our strides turn into dancing. Let all who are against us turn away in shame knowing that you are our God and we live in your salvation. Let our hearts beat with love and happiness as we call out your name and give thanks to you.

Stand with us as we fall to our knees giving our hearts to you. Fill us with your Spirit Lord and let us glow with your glory so that all who see us and all who know us, desire your presence.

Let the world watch as we walk on water through all our storms giving glory and thanks to you. Lord come and reveal your salvation to us and let us bring honour to you with our hearts and voices and with our lives.

Have and awesome day dear friend of Jesus

Cheers

Just to remind you

When I say that 'I am a Christian', I am not shouting that 'I am clean living. I'm whispering 'I was lost, but now I'm found and forgiven.'  When I say 'I am a Christian', I don't speak of this with pride. I'm confessing that I stumble and need Christ to be my guide.   When I say 'I am a Christian', I'm not trying to be strong. I'm professing that I'm weak and need His strength to carry on.  When I say 'I am a Christian', I'm not bragging of success. I'm admitting I have failed and need God to clean my mess.  When I say 'I am a Christian', I'm not claiming to be perfect. My flaws are far too visible, but God believes I am worth it. When I say 'I am a Christian', I still feel the sting of pain. I have my share of heartaches, so I call upon His name. When I say 'I am a Christian', I'm not holier than you. I’m just a simple sinner who received God...

Today Reminder – 7 August 2014 (Day 5 – Return to Proverbs)

A reminder for today Honour the LORD with your wealth and with the best part of everything you produce. Then he will fill your barns with grain, and your vats will overflow with good wine. (Proverbs 3:9-10) When we realise that all we are and all that we are good at is a blessing from the Lord we soon see how we can honour Him with these wonderful talents. I give all the credit to the Lord for all that I accomplish and all that I do and I am humbled by the way He continues to give me wisdom in my work. The promise here is much greater than we realise. When we honour Him with all that we produce, He will fill our barns and let our vats overflow. This to me means that the more we honour Him in what we produce (do) the more He will bless what we do up to the extend where we will see His blessings and they will leave us completely overwhelmed. In the end all that we have comes from God and He will increase what we have when we seek Him above all and live to bring glory to Him. ...

Today Reminder (Boxes) – 9 November 2017

A reminder for today   I am the Alpha and the Omega, the First and the Last, the Beginning and the End [the Eternal One]. (Revelation 22:13 ) When you are reading this, I will be well on my way to my parents. Today is their moving day and we are off to help. Now, when it comes to moving I am almost an expert. We moved a few times and I can tell you it was never fun. Even still today our furniture starts to shake when a truck drives by. Now moving is all about boxes. Your stuff goes into the box and then onto the truck and finally at the new destination the stuff comes out of the box. One thing I can tell you is that with every move our stuff got lesser and lesser, because I gave some away that I thought we do not need anymore. Some would think I just made it less and easier to move. I would argue the opposite, but surely everyone is entitled to their own opinion. When we look at life it is a bit like moving. You see we experience things in life and we box it. This c...
