A
reminder for today
O
nations of the world, recognize the LORD; recognize that the LORD is glorious
and strong. (Psalm 96:7)
I must admit after all these public holidays we’ve had
the last few weeks it is hard to get started this week. It feels as if we’ve
been blinded by a promise of rest and then it is taken away. I feel a little
tired as the week kicks off in full force and I would love to have a few more
lazy days.
I guess when we seek the
Lord we get those lazy moments when we just carry on and we miss His glory
in so many things that we just take for granted. I want to take you back to
those first moments when you wake up. When you lie there in bed gathering the
will and courage to get up and face the day. That minute when you lie and think
“Should I go or should I stay”.
It is sometimes a quiet moment or it could be a moment
filled with little voices as they tend to get up much easier than we do. Whichever
it is, it is a moment when you can recognise God. He is that quiet peaceful
feeling that falls over you as you get up. He is that breath of air that lifts
you up and out of bed. He is the very reason that you woke and started another
day.
Come and let us recognise the Lord and recognise that He
is glorious and strong and that nothing can compare to His greatness. The air
that fills our lungs is filled with His glory and the very breath that we use
each minute is Him.
Don’t miss His glory - even in the little moments - every
day.
Have an awesome day dear friend of Jesus
