Today Reminder – 24 June 2016

 A reminder for today
It's not important who does the planting, or who does the watering. What's important is that God makes the seed grow. (1 Corinthians 3:7)

What does a farmer do when he’s got a barren field that’s producing no income? He doesn’t complain about it. He doesn’t even pray about it! He just goes out and starts planting some seed, because nothing is going to happen until he plants the seed. He can pray all he wants, but it’s not going to produce fruit. He’s got to plant some seed.
Why does God require us to plant a seed? Because planting is an act of faith. You take what you’ve got, and you give it away. That takes an act of faith! And it brings glory to God.

It is not important who plants the seed, it is important that the seed is planted. God can use the most unlikely individual to plant a seed and then God will nourish it and make it grow. Do not doubt in yourself and do not think that you must wait for God to plant your seeds. It is by faith that we walk and by faith that we live. We should incorporate that faith into all that we do.

Plant the seed my friend and let God make it grow. If God is for us, who can be against us. God is always with you so do not fear to take that leap. Let His Holy Spirit guide you and you will surely do the right thing.

So today we become farmers. Go out and prepare your fields, my friend. This means that you must be willing to face many obstacles but remain determined to place a seed in a field where it can grow. Not all seed will fall in good ground and some will have almost no impact, but it is the one that falls on the right ground that will change a life and lead people to Jesus.

Lord, guide us so that we can plant a seed in the hearts of the people we meet and I pray that you will grow that seed so that no one will be lost that accepts you. In Jesus name.

Have an awesome day dear friend of Jesus.

Cheers
PS: I am taking some time off that I will spend in nature close to God’s wonder. I will return to you in a week and I look forward to share God’s wonders with you. May you have a blessed time and may the Lord our God fill you with passion and drive so that you will flourish in life and bring glory to His name. See you soon.

Today Reminder – 23 June 2016

 A reminder for today
But it was to us that God revealed these things by his Spirit. For his Spirit searches out everything and shows us God's deep secrets. No one can know a person's thoughts except that person's own spirit, and no one can know God's thoughts except God's own Spirit. (1 Corinthians 2:10-11)

It is so vital that we build a good relationship with the Holy Spirit. You see God works through the Holy Spirt in our daily lives. God is Father, Son and Holy Spirit. And all the divine attributes ascribed to the Father and the Son are equally ascribed to the Holy Spirit. When a person becomes born again by believing and receiving Jesus Christ, God resides in that person through the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit has intellect, emotion, and will. A primary role of the Holy Spirit is that He bears "witness" of Jesus Christ. He tells people's hearts about the truth of Jesus Christ. The Holy Spirit also acts as a Christian's teacher.

The Holy Spirit was given to live inside those who believe in Jesus, in order to produce God's character in the life of a believer. In a way that we cannot do on our own, the Holy Spirit will build into our lives love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control. Rather than trying to be loving, patient, kind, God asks us to rely on Him to produce these qualities in our lives. Thus Christians are told to walk in the Spirit and be filled with the Spirit. And the Holy Spirit empowers Christians to perform ministerial duties that promote spiritual growth among Christians.

The Holy Spirit also performs a function for non-Christians as well. He convicts people's hearts of God's truth concerning how sinful we are -- needing God's forgiveness; how righteous Jesus is -- He died in our place, for our sins; and God's eventual judgment of the world and those who do not know Him. The Holy Spirit tugs on our hearts and minds, asking us to repent and turn to God for forgiveness and a new life.

Lord fill us anew with your Holy Spirit and let Him guide and teach us to be more than average. Let us be extraordinary in your name and bring glory to you in all we do. In Jesus name.

Have an awesome day dear friend of Jesus.

Cheers

Today Reminder – 22 June 2016

 A reminder for today
I am writing to God's church in Corinth, to you who have been called by God to be his own holy people. He made you holy by means of Christ Jesus, just as he did for all people everywhere who call on the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, their Lord and ours. (1 Corinthians 1:2)

To be holy is to be dedicated or consecrated (sacred) to God. My friend we have been called by God to be His own holy people. Paul says that we are made holy by Jesus Christ and what He did. It is funny how people seem to transform this word. When you are a religious person, people are quick to scorn you and say that you think you are so holy. When you are wrong you will always look for a reason to argue your position. When people are not very religious they are quick to say terrible things about other. It is in their ignorance that they will find their judgement.

My friend, when you call on the name of Jesus Christ you are made holy no matter who you are or what you did. God’s forgiveness reaches further that we can understand and in His grace we will flourish and become the holy people that God wants us to be.

So today I want you to understand that you are holy and this means that you are different than the rest of this world. You are on a different level and you live in a different way. You see things different and you do things different, because God’s love flows from within.

Lord, guide and lead us to become your holy people and in this way bring glory to you. In Jesus name.

Have an awesome day dear friend of Jesus.

Cheers
