Today Reminder – 10 June 2016

 A reminder for today
In fact, it says, "The message is very close at hand; it is on your lips and in your heart."
And that message is the very message about faith that we preach: If you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.  (Romans 10:8-9)

So many of us is tricked by the enemy in thinking that we will not be saved. The enemy comes into your life and reminds you of all the bad you did and then he tries to convince you that there is no redemption for someone with so many skeletons in their closet. We walk each day carrying the past with us and it becomes something that starts to feed of your misery. We find ourselves dwelling to much in the past that we do not see the hope of the future. We turn into a state of self-pity and inner conflict where we question our very existence.

So after all this sorrow and sulking we have wasted so much time. God made it so easy. His message is quite simple: If you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.

This means that you with all that sorrow in your life is taking the time to listen to the wrong side. We would rather listen to the misery than see the glory that there is in Jesus. So you, my friend, you will be saved, because you believe that God raised Jesus from the dead and you will gladly confess that Jesus is Lord. A simple sentence with enormous effects. Trusting and believing in God and listening to His guidance will create a ripple effect in your life.

His light and joy will turn your sorrow into dancing and His love will break your darkness and bring you back into the light. Do not let the enemy try and convince you that you are not worthy. You are saved by the blood of Jesus Christ. So stop with the past dwelling stuff and start living for Jesus.

Lord we confess that you are Lord and we believe that God has raised you from the dead so that we will not perish, but live with your forever. In Jesus name.

Have an awesome day dear friend of Jesus

Cheers
