A reminder for today
But
whatever I am now, it is all because God poured out his special favour on
me—and not without results. For I have worked harder than any of the other
apostles; yet it was not I but God who was working through me by his grace. So
it makes no difference whether I preach or they preach, for we all preach the
same message you have already believed. (1 Corinthians 15:10-11)
How are you, my friend? I do hope you had a blessed weekend
and that you are well rested for the week ahead. Rest is very important for
your body and you should take good care of your temple. To get some rest is a
good thing. It revitalises you and helps to fight those unwanted colds.
One of the greatest lies the enemy wants you to believe is
that you are not worthy. You are not good enough and you are not a good
follower of Jesus Christ so you are not worthy to spread the gospel. This is
nonsense. Paul says that he is what he is because of God’s special favour. He was
able to do what he did by grace. This is the same grace that we live by and the
same favour God will show all of us. It makes no difference whether you have
made every mistake in the book or if you lived a perfect life. The message we
preach is the same. It is all about the love God has for us and miracle that
Jesus did on the cross when He defeated death and took with Him all our sins. So
there is no reason why you should ever feel unworthy to tell other about Jesus
and the wonder of His love. The freedom that we have in Him and the gift of
life that we get from Him.
So today I want you to put aside your fears and spread the Gospel
with every chance you get. Even if you give a smile to someone or help a poor
person or whether you do something for someone. Do it with Jesus on your lips
and the Holy Spirit in your heart. Let us lead the sheep to the shepherd and
break the chains of the enemy on other. Life free, my friend.
Lord, let us spread your Word today and help other to come
back to you and break with their worldly habits. In Jesus name.
Have an awesome day dear friend of Jesus.
Cheers
