A
reminder for today
We
think you ought to know, dear brothers and sisters, about the trouble we went
through in the province of Asia. We were crushed and overwhelmed beyond our
ability to endure, and we thought we would never live through it. In fact,
we expected to die. But as a result, we stopped relying on ourselves and
learned to rely only on God, who raises the dead. And he did rescue us
from mortal danger, and he will rescue us again. We have placed our confidence
in him, and he will continue to rescue us. (2 Corinthians 1:8-10)
God is the comforter of all and when He comforts us through
our trouble so that we can be a comfort to other. We walk through so many
challenges during our life journey and we often forget that we should not rely
on our own strength but instead we should rely on God. Just as God rescued Paul
from danger in Asia He will rescue you when you rely on Him. God will rescue
you because of His grace and love for you. The God we worship is far more
powerful than we can ever imagine and He will easily more your troubles out of
the way just as He so easily raises people from the dead.
So today I do not want you to rely om your own strength and
power, but rely on God in all that you do and all that you face today. He will
guide you and rescue you.
Lord we humbly place all our trust in you as we fully
commit to rely on you alone through all our troubles and challenges. Lead us on
the path that you want us to be and use us to free those still chained in their
sins. In Jesus name.
Have an awesome day dear friend of Jesus.
Cheers
