A reminder for
today
And he that
keepeth his commandments dwelleth in him, and he in him. And hereby we know

It is Friday! Yes, my week was a little shorter so I have a
little more privilege this week. I am lately doing a lot to equip myself as an
apologist for Jesus and in the same effort I am trying to give you guys tools
to use against the continuous battle that rages against us. Atheism is
extremely active and very outspoken especially New Atheism that constantly
tries to confuse people with evolution and science to prove God does not exist.
Here are a few thoughts that I have on the subject and maybe it will make you
think also. Firstly how was the world created? Evolutionists believe in a
number of options of which the “Big bang” seems to be a popular view. They believe
that the universe was created in a massive explosion. History has proven to us
that explosions only causes destruction and in an explosion all matter will
travel in the same direction. In our universe that is not the situation. All
eight planets in the Solar System orbit the Sun in the direction that
the Sun is rotating, which is counter clockwise when viewed from above the
Sun's north pole. Six of the planets also rotate about their axis in this same
direction. The exceptions—the planets with retrograde rotation—are Venus
and Uranus. So much for an explosion theory.
Then they claim that we evolved from a monkey and that there
are many similarities in our DNA, but what they do not tell you is that there
are much more differences. First of all, there is no known way by which natural
processes could have produced life itself or the increasingly complex genetic
information to get to that point in the first place. Secondly, the existence of
biochemical and genetic similarities between humans, apes, and monkeys is
evidence, not of common ancestry, but of common design. We know from the book
of Genesis that God did not use one organism as raw material for the next but
instead spoke each into existence over the course of a few days. All kinds of
land animals were created on the same day as Adam and Eve. Human beings have
remarkable differences including a spiritual nature that chimps have never and
will never have. Ancestral biology cannot explain the origin of the information
for physical and mental differences, much less the spiritual differences. But
the Bible does.
Therefore, do not worry you are not a monkey. In fact, you
will never be one, because you are created in God’s perfect image. I know this,
because in me lives an almighty God and I see His amazing presence in every
day. How can anyone think that the amazing complexity we have in our uniqueness
just came to be. If you look into a mirror how can you not believe that a
loving and masterful designer did not make you? Your perfection resembles His
amazing power. Do not listen to the lies of the enemy and stand with me as we
fight for Jesus. You are beautifully and wonderfully made. You are just
perfect, my friend. So, stand up and smile for you are beautiful.
Lord, thank you for all the evidence that we have about you.
Help us to show you to a lost world so that your Spirit can break down the
walls of atheism. In Jesus name.
