Today Reminder (Antichrist 5) – 24 July 2017

A reminder for today
And there was a widow in that city; and she came unto him, saying, Avenge me of mine adversary. (Luke 18:3)

How was your weekend. I hope you rested a little. We still have much to discuss on the antichrist so that we will have a full picture. Just one thing you should remember: it is in our faith that we stand out and live differently. It is because we are saved that the world rejects us and it is because of our knowledge that the enemy seeks us out. You are saved and you will be with me in heaven, because in Jesus we have more than life. We have an almighty God.

Now the antichrist. Now in 2 Thessalonians 2:10 we see that the antichrist brings all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish because the receive not the love of the truth (God’s word) so that they might be saved. And for this cause God will send them strong delusion (fraud), that the should believe a lie that they all might be dammed (judged) who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness. The judging involves certain Christians who knew the truth but were seduced into sin. The thing that you should avoid most in this trial is disbelieve of truth and sin starting with rejecting outright blasphemy by the antichrist.

Now how did Paul new this evil man was coming. There are a number of clues in the old testament. Look at this vision recorded by the prophet Zachariah in chapter 5 verse 5 to 8: Now the angel that talked with me said lift up now your eyes, and see what is this that goes forth. And I said what is it and he said this an ephah (eight-gallon jar) that goes forth. He said moreover, this is their resemblance through all the earth. Now note that more than one person (actually three) is being described. Now he continuous and behold there was lifted up a talent of lead: and this is a woman that sits in the midst of the ephah. Now recall from earlier that the man of sin rises up out of the midst. He continuous and says that this is wickedness (remember Paul called him that wicked one). And he cast it into the midst of the ephah and he cast the weight of lead upon the mouth thereof. This figure sits hidden today within a symbolic jar covered with a poisonous lead top. It says that the man of sin is revealed to literally take of the top as you would do with a jar.

In verse 9 to 10 Zachariah brings two other figures into the picture. He writes then lifted I up my eyes and looked and behold there came out two woman and the wind was in their wings for they had wings like the wings of a stork: and they lifted up the ephah between the earth and the heaven. Then said I to the angel where do these bear the ephah? Very important is that you see these two men flank the antichrist. In 2 Timothy 3:8 they are typed in as Jannes and Jambres who withstood Moses. In Zachariah 11:8 we see them as reflected as three shepherds who abhorred God and the antichrist is referred to as the evil shepherd. Now know that the woman in Zachariah is plainly translated in the new testament as a man (the man of sin) and the stork woman are therefore also men. Now verse 11 holds a big clue of the antichrist intentions where is says after verse 10: To build an house in the land of Shinar (a symbol for Jerusalem) and it shall be established (erected) and set there upon her own base. So the construction of a false temple will commence in Jerusalem after the man of sin explodes onto the world. He will be a precise counterfeit if Jesus coming in the clouds. To make room for this house of the antichrist everything on the temple mount will be destroyed fulfilling the prophecy of Jesus where He said in Luke 2: 16 the days will come in the which there shall not be left one stone upon another that shall not be thrown down. Now remember despite the destruction of the temple in AD69 – 70 of the temple this has not yet happened. There are still thousands of stones upon one another. So, every stone will be cleared to make way for satan’s world headquarters. Ok, we will continue on this tomorrow.

Lord, thank you for the amazing grace that you bestowed upon us and the love that we receive out of your wonderful mercy. Be with us as we face our challenges and keep us standing in the storms ahead. In Jesus name.

Have an awesome day, dear friend of Jesus.

Cheers
