A reminder
for today
On
the morning of the third day, thunder roared and lightning flashed, and a dense
cloud came down on the mountain. There was a long, loud blast from a ram's
horn, and all the people trembled. Moses led them out from the camp to
meet with God, and they stood at the foot of the mountain. All of Mount
Sinai was covered with smoke because the LORD had descended on it in the form
of fire. The smoke billowed into the sky like smoke from a brick kiln, and the
whole mountain shook violently. As the blast of the ram's horn grew louder
and louder, Moses spoke, and God thundered His reply. (Exodus 19:16-19)
How great is our God:
I am trying to imagine this picture of God appearing on
the mountain to the people of Israel and I don’t think I am even close. God is
huge! He is much bigger than we can possibly imagine.
My dear friend, this is the God we worship, the one and
only living God - the creator of heaven and earth. He wants you to remember
this today. He is greater than anything you may ever encounter on your journey
and He is always consistently the same. He has no favourites and therefore you
are just as important to Him as anyone else on earth.
This is the God that send His only son to die for your
sins and to set you free. Come with me today as we rejoice in the Lord and lift
His name on high for He is at work in our lives preparing us for the great
things yet to come.
I pray that you will see how great God is in your life
and in the lives of those around you, in Jesus name.
And I quote again: “Don’t
tell God how great your problems are, but tell your problems how great your God
is.”
Have an awesome day, dear friend of Jesus.
Cheers
