for today

Wow! It is a week before Christmas! What an awesome time
of the year. We once again get the opportunity to celebrate one of the greatest
gifts ever given to us by God our Father. We celebrate the birth of our Lord
Jesus Christ.
It is the time of the year where we share the joy with
friends and family and with all those around us. It is a time of giving representing
the awesome gift we have in Jesus Christ.
It is also a crazy time where people rush around to get
the last Christmas shopping done and there is the rush to get to the holiday
destinations and then there is the sad and terrible that creeps in as the enemy
continues to try and destroy the joy of Christmas.
Therefore my dear friend, my prayer for you for today is
this: 'May the LORD bless you and protect you. May the LORD smile on you and
be gracious to you. May the LORD show you his favour and give you his peace.'
