A
reminder for today
The
Israelites did evil in the LORD's sight. So the LORD handed them over to the
Midianites for seven years. The Midianites were so cruel that the Israelites
made hiding places for themselves in the mountains, caves, and strongholds.
(Judges 6:1-2)
Have you ever done something whether by mistake or out of
anger or purely out inexperience that left you embarrassed in such a way that
you feel you just want to hide away and never come out? Once again Israel failed
the Lord and the outcome of their own stupidity made them fled to the mountains
for hiding places.
Sometimes we do stupid things. Sometimes we know why and
sometimes we seem to have missed the reason and making the mistake left you vulnerable
and alone. When we are on top of our game we always have many who like us, but
the moment we stumble we seem to stand alone, or that is what the enemy wants
us to think.
My dear friend, every time Israel stumbled they ended up
calling the Lord for help and every time the Lord send someone to help them
with His authority. These men and woman were judges in a time of war and
cruelty. When you stumble and fall, the best thing to do is to return to God
and call on His help. He will either send someone or He will open a new door
for you or there is something to learn out of your mistake, whichever it is,
God will not leave you nor will He ever forsake you. He is with you all of the
way. You must just come out of hiding and call on Him and accept His guidance and
follow His voice with a humble and patient heart and the rewards will be beyond
your imagination.
Come and let us return to God and open our hearts.
Have an awesome day dear friend of Jesus.
Cheers
