reminder for today
The
LORD will work out his plans for my life—for your faithful love, O LORD,

The story of Two
Two has always been second all his life. He has never had
the chance to be number one. As the years went by he so desired the first
position and dreamed of being number one. One day while everybody was busy
sorting out their numbers Two quietly took One’s place. At last when all the
sorting was done it was too late to change anything and Two was happily in
One’s place. Everybody was shocked and did not know what to do. Two was so
happy that he finally was in the first position that he did not care what the
people said and thought, he just stood proud in his newly self-appointed place.
A man came by and saw what had happened. He looked at Two
and saw how he so wanted the position but he was sad and hurt by all the
painful comments people were making. The man walked over to Two and started to
ask him about his new position and how he came about it. The man started to
explain to Two that he will never be happy in a position that he was never
designed to be in. He said that the number maker made each number with a
special purpose and that each number must use his number talent to be the best
that he can be in the position that was designed for him. He said that Two
might always be second in this sequence, because he is a two. But let us place
you in the right sequence that you were designed for. He took Two to a new
place where there were lots of numbers standing around uncertain what to do and
where to go. He said to two to take the first position. Two reluctantly walked
up to the first position and took its place. Suddenly the room changed as all
the numbers seemed to realise where they fit in. Four came by and took the
second position and so came Six and Eight as they all fell into place. Each time
they lightened up with joy as they saw their purpose.
“You see” said the man to Two “Sometimes we are in a
place where we are not made to shine. It is only when we realise what our
purpose is and when we follow that purpose we will come to a place where we
will shine and all those around us will see our light and realise their
purpose. It is then when the number maker will be glorified for His designs
finally is who they were intended to be. You might look like a two to those
numbers, but in the right place with the right purpose, you will always be
first.”
My dear friend, to God you are always a one and never a
two for He made you.
