A reminder for
today
He makes the whole
body fit together perfectly. As each part does its own special work, it helps
the other parts grow, so that the whole body is healthy and growing and full of
love.(Ephesians 4:16)
Last night we were blessed with yet another rain shower. I
love a rainy night and I love to listen to the rain as it pours down on our
roof. I love the roar of thunder as it lights up the night sky. It is like a
symphony for the glory of God. Each and every drop is important as they all
have one purpose and that is to bring life to the earth. Those that fall on the
roof is just as important as those that fell in the soil. The ones on the roof
combine their strength so that they poor deeper into the soil. No matter where
they fall they are all equal. We are all just as important in the body of
Christ. This body resembles the church and how it reaches to the furthest parts
of the world fighting to save as many lives as possible. You are part of this
body and each part fits perfectly together so that we all work together with
one goal and that is to show Jesus to a lost world.
Today I want you to know that you are perfectly fitted into
God’s plan and that you are just as important as the pastor giving the sermon. Take
every moment today and show Jesus to all you meet.
Lord, let your light shine through us today. In Jesus name.
