A reminder for
today
But God is so rich in
mercy, and he loved us so much, that even though we were dead because of
our sins, he gave us life when he raised Christ from the dead. (It is only by
God's grace that you have been saved!) (Ephesians 2:4-5)
Yesterday I gave you quite a lot to read. Sorry about that,
but I wanted you to see satan for who and what he is. And most importantly I wanted
you to see that there is no hope for him. He is practically fighting a losing
battle. There is no way he will be victorious, because our God is so rich in
mercy and His grace is so abundant that there is no way we will be lost if we
follow Jesus. There is no way that satan will bring you down, because you have
life in Jesus Christ and you have freedom in Jesus Christ and you have
unlimited strength in Jesus Christ and you have eternity to spend with Him. This
drives satan insane thus his misguided ideas of destroying us.
So today I want you to be fearless and ready to fight. I want
you to face the enemy and remind him that his future is a warm place where you
will not be. I want you to know that you are saved and you have been given life
and that the old you does not exist anymore. I want you to know that you are strong
and powerful and there is nothing satan can do to destroy you. You are loved
more than anything and you are so important in this life. Live today and live
free for you are saved.
Lord, thank you again for what you did for us on the cross. Let
us take on this day and put satan in his place. Let no evil come close to us
for you are our Lord and God. Let your light shine fear into the enemy as we
walk to defeat them. In Jesus name.
