Today Reminder – 8 November 2016

A reminder for today
For I fully expect and hope that I will never be ashamed, but that I will continue to be bold for Christ, as I have been in the past. And I trust that my life will bring honor to Christ, whether I live or die. (Philippians 1:20)

And I trust that my life will bring honor to Christ, whether I live or die. These are big words and more so because we know that in the end we will find a new heaven and a new earth as we dwell in the house of the Lord forever. To live a life where we seek and desire to bring honor to God is life that will fulfilling in every aspect of it. I love it when Paul says but that I will continue to be bold for Christ, as I have been in the past.

It is not so easy to be outspoken and bold for Jesus as it is to say it. Sometimes we will probably be the only one that feels that way in a room full of people that apposes the idea of Christian faith. Sometime it may feel that we are trying to swim upstream as we boldly stand on the foundation of Jesus. However difficult it may seem it is imperative that you do not give up in your desire to be more like Jesus. Just as the Lord it is not a popularity contest but a fight against the evil forces of darkness. Our bold attempts to bring light in a dark world is the only way we can bring the gospel to empty hearts. I say empty heart, because any heart that does not have the Lord is heart full of emptiness that can never be filled. The material things of this world holds no substance for the needs of our Spirit, but the things of the Lord is all we need to prosper.

So today we are going to be bold. Yes BOLD.  We will bring honor to God as we stand firm in our faith and boldly speak the gospel to all. Spread the Word, my friend.

Lord, I pray that you will light the fire in our souls as we boldly live for you and carry your Word with us as we bring honor to you. In Jesus name.

Have an awesome day dear friend of Jesus.

Cheers
