Reflections of faith (My victory) – 31 January 2019

But thanks be to God, which giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ. (1 Corinthians 15:52)

Sometimes it is those closest to you that hurts you the most. The enemy is cunning and when he sees a gap, he will use anyone to break your faith and push you into a wall. The amazing thing about our God is that in the end He will reveal all. So, the haters and the hurters in your life may smile and laugh at their tiny victories but our victory will be much greater. I have been called many things and I have been many things but my love for my God has grown tremendously over the last few years. I love the quote that some will never like you because your spirit annoys their demons.

Today I am just grateful. God is placing amazing people into my life and He is revealing the lies of those against me. My faith remains constant and although it hurts still, I am much stronger, and I am in a much better place. My heart is in a process of healing by the grace and love of the almighty healer. He has opened my eyes so that I can see my past is clear and my mistakes forgiven.

He showed me His hands and He showed me His feet. I can feel His presence daily and I am at a loss for words by the amazing ways He is rebuilding me. I am under construction and the building blocks that is coming into my life is just awesome.

So, today my thanks and my joy are in my God. He is giving me more and more victories each day though my saviour and redeemer. Be strong, my friend and let us face this day and all its challenges through love and grace and the strength that flows from our Father.

Have an awesome day dear friend of Jesus.

Reflections of faith (My eyes) – 30 January 2019

Mine eyes are ever toward the LORD; for he shall pluck my feet out of the net. (Psalm 25:15)

We are so blessed. The Lord just reassured me that in Him I will find my peace and my strength. He is my salvation and my focus. He is unlimited and in Him I become unlimited for He is the creator of the universe. I will keep my eyes on the Lord, and He will keep me out of the snare of the enemy. All the paths lead to eternity for those of us that does the will of the Lord. We whom keep His covenant and follow His direction.

We are not lost anymore, but instead we have purpose and we are driven by a desire to do His will and end up in heaven. Slowly God is busy setting me free from the grip of my past and the guilt that I carry. Slowly He is rebuilding a broken man into a powerful force for His will and His purpose and His glory.

God is moving and I can feel it. He is busy pulling my world back together again and He is my joy and my peace. He is my God and in Him alone do I trust. This world does not hold me anymore and this world has no grip left on me. I am free from all condemnation which leaves the enemy powerless.

I may stumble and fall but my heart belongs to God. He is the reason I am here, and He is the reason I can fight and never give up. I am so speechless when I see what God is doing in my life.

So, today my words are simple. Do not give up. Do not worry. Do not fear and do not try on your own. God is with us all the time, just relax and listen for in His voice you will hear His plan.

Have an awesome day dear friend of Jesus.

Cheers

Reflections of faith (Be a light) – 29 January 2019

Ye are the light of the world. A city that is set on an hill cannot be hid. (Matthew 5:14)

Today is a good day. I struggled out of bed and did my cardio kicking session before I took my boys to school. We had a few laughs on the way and said our goodbye’s as they went of to class. My workout was tough but awesome. The Lord is bringing so many amazing people into my life and I am just blessed. Despite all my financial challenges I am still floating, and I am still fighting. I am a walking example of grace.

So, Jesus says that you must be a light. He said that a city on a hill cannot be hidden and a candle is never placed in a bushel. Jesus said that we must go out into the world and shine our light. He says that we must shine our light before men so that they can see our good works and glorify the Lord our God.

The hardest thing to do is to let your light shine all the time. The enemy comes and steal your joy by putting you through hard times. He tries to put out your light by putting you into a storm. He wants you to fade and die. He tried that with me the last few months and he got close. But I would not let go of my faith and I would not let go of my God.

Every time the waves hit, I turned to God for my refuge and my sanctuary. Every time the hurt and pain poured into my body, I turned to Him. And every time I had to deal with lies and arrogance I just called out His name. Every time, the Lord answered and every time He pulled me closer and held me tighter. Every time He carried me over the storm.

So, today I say let them see your light in me, Lord. Let my life reflect your love and your grace and let my life glorify you. Let me be your words wherever I go and to whoever I speak. Let your light shine through me and blind the enemy and open the eyes of those around me. Let me be the man you planned me to be when I was still a baby.

Let your words over my life take form and let me do the things that you are preparing me to be. Let me be the Father my kids need and let me be the ambassador that you need. Let my life be like a city on a hill.

Have an awesome day dear friend of Jesus.

Cheers
