A reminder for today As Saul turned and started to leave, God gave him a new heart, and all Samuel's signs were fulfilled that day. When Saul and his servant arrived at Gibeah, they saw a group of prophets coming toward them. Then the Spirit of God came powerfully upon Saul, and he, too, began to prophesy. (1 Samuel 10:9-10) God gave him a new heart. This verse was stuck in my head all day yesterday. Why did God gave Saul a new heart? God chose Saul, a handsome man much taller than any other, to be King and to rule over Israel. Saul must’ve lacked some of the qualities that were needed for a king therefore God changed him. God made him a new man full of the Holy Spirit. Sometimes God needs to change hearts. I believe we can so easily get stuck in our ways in how we think and what we do and how we react. Sure life changes us and I agree circumstances too, but it is in our hearts where we must be most careful. God changed Saul’s heart to be a better man, and sometimes Go...
