Today Reminder - 23 April 2013 (Thunder)

A reminder for today
Just as Samuel was sacrificing the burnt offering, the Philistines arrived to attack Israel. But the LORD spoke with a mighty voice of thunder from heaven that day, and the Philistines were thrown into such confusion that the Israelites defeated them. (1 Samuel 7:10)

Oh wow! When the Lord moves in your life it is like a storm over the ocean. So thus far in the life of Samuel the Israelites lost against the Philistines and in turn lost the Ark of the Covenant. Hophni and Phinehas died in this battle and Eli died on hearing the news of the ark. The Philistines returned the Ark, because the Lord brought plagues over their towns. Samuel became Israel’s judge and at the battle of Mizpah the Lord gave Israel victory over the Philistines.

The LORD spoke with a mighty voice of thunder. When the Lord spoke the battle turned in favour of the Israelites. My dear friend, when the Lord speaks over your life, it is with a mighty voice of thunder. That is why we are thrown of balance for a moment when things start to move. When God start moving in your life the enemy will be thrown into confusion and scattered. One thing I want you to remember is that the enemy is very scared of the Lord, because they know what He is capable of. They began screaming at Him, "Why are you interfering with us, Son of God? Have you come here to torture us before God's appointed time?" (Matthew 8:29)

My dear friend, you worship an almighty God. There is no other like Him and there can never be. He is the beginning and the end, the first and the last. When God speaks, walls crumble and fortresses are captured, the weak are strong and the pride falls, defeat turns into victory and limitations does not exist.

God moves in us, and we will be the storm that moves the mountain, and bring the lost to the King.

Have an awesome day dear friend of Jesus.

Cheers
