A
reminder for today
The
thief's purpose is to steal and kill and destroy. My purpose is to give them a
rich and satisfying life. I am the good shepherd. The good shepherd sacrifices
his life for the sheep. (John 10:10-11)
The enemy’s sole purpose is to destroy at any cost. The Lord
wants to remind you that His purpose is to give you a rich and satisfying life.
This means that the Lord wants you to live
a full life. When I say live, I mean that you must live without the worries
and concerns that the enemy uses to hamper your happiness. Live with the
intention to find joy in every moment and to glorify Him in all those moments. Live
to be different and in your difference your faith will open the eyes of those
still grounded by the enemy’s lies. Live and breathe every little bit of every
little opportunity to show content and freedom.
The best way to counter the enemy’s attacks is to show
your unwillingness to submit and listen to his lies. The Lord is our shepherd
and He gave His life for us so that we can enjoy a rich and satisfying life
without being stuck in a worry hole filled with negative thoughts.
He gave His life. Let’s give Him ours.
